DJ San & Sebastian Moore - Raindrops (Aaron Suiss Remix)

Future Blueprints is a celebration of the upcoming generation of producers who are making their own unique mark on the scene, and gives us a snapshot of the excellent quality and imagination out there amongst the next wave of progressive artists. 

First up, Argentina’s Agustin Pengov gives us ‘SEIA’, a melodic masterstroke which oozes class and manages to remain both subtle and furious in the same breath. 

The goose bumps continue as we stay in South America, but move next door to Uruguay with ‘Distance’ from Alex Efe & Diego Barrondo, two of Uruguay’s hottest exports, who regularly collaborate, and it shows with this blistering ride of a track. 

Next we travel to Sydney, Australia, by way of Sam Cooke, AKA Covsky, who proves he really is one to watch on the Aussie new school scene with this emotive heads down groover called ‘Whole 9’. 

We head back to South America, but this time we land in São Paulo, Brazil and are greeted by Gorkiz and his anthemic  ‘Intuition’. 

A second collaboration is next up, and this time we are spanning the globe with Serbia-based Hobin Rude and Argentina’s Nicolas Benedetti and their sublime ‘Orhidea’. 

Last, but certainly not least we close this compilation with the fittingly titled ‘End of a New Era’ from Buenos Aires’ Matias Ocaño. An emotive and melancholic gem. 

We are left in no doubt that the future of progressive house music is in very good hands.

Covsky - Whole 9

Next up, we welcome Simos Tagias to the label with the 'Mantis EP'. 

A prolific producer, Simos Tagias has released with everyone from FSOE and UV to Replug and Mango Alley. Based in northern Greece, he made his breakthrough with Lynx Records a decade ago, and has gone on to create an enviable back catalogue with support across the progressive scene from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Cid Inc.  and more. 

Opening with lead track, 'Mantis', we are quickly swept up in Simos' epic soundscape. Dirty bass and gunshot stabs playfully work against shakers and sidechained pads growing the tension over time. Midway, new synthlines add meat to the bones of this chunky groover before the main break cools things off a touch. 

'Daydreamer' begins apace with gated bass and eerie atmospheres. Dark and moody, the sound design creates powerful mental images as the tracks takes hold. Closing the EP, the tribal rhythms of 'Breath' feel extra funky. Synth washes and sparse percussion give the track acres of space to breathe(!) creating a light breezy vibe. Solid work from one of the scene's unsung heroes.

This week we welcome back the talented Dutch producer Frezel that returns to PHW Elements. Being a major player on our latest Underground Selections compilation, he now returns with another 2 energetic and melodic progressive productions. 

First out is the naughty production named as “Bass Power”, a truly melodic and powerful number from this talented producer. With etching melodic parts, growing as the track goes by and together with that dark bass, this is sure to be another winner from Frezel. 

We also see an additional rework on “Bass Power” as Australian Dan Baber makes his return on PHW Elements. It is always a joy having this true gentleman back as he's not only a superb producer. With added on melodic parts, that together with his always quirky way of hearing things and adding on textures, he’s sure to strike you with yet another strong contender picked up on the label. We are always pleased to see Dan back on the label. 

Added on to that, we see a second original, this one named as “Enticing”. A subtle but yet energetic production where Thomas delivers in full flare, using a plethora of soundscapes to build another intelligent production, right up our alley. 

To second, we see the return from UK’s very own Daniel Watts, more known to us all through his Fractal Architect moniker. Being a forces not only with us but on the progressive scene for a long spell, we all know by now that there is another well produced production coming up. With a deep and soothing feel built through his interpretation, we feel as good as ever to bring him back. Go ahead and take his rework to your hearts, if the deeper and moody side of progressive is your thing, well then you have another winner from him coming up here!

Onedotsixtwo continues to strike whilst the Progressive House iron is well and truly molten hot. Our 27th release bears the fruit of a magical meeting of minds, namely Australian favourite Matter & Sri Lanka's Prince of Prog, Dimuth K, with their Road to Stanton Moor EP.

Matty and Dim deliver two absolute belters for this release. The lead track 'Road to Stanton Moor' is a deep and throbbing builder with tight percussion and eerie effects layers that float in and out of the track, as it rockets towards a momentous breakdown that's guaranteed to send any dancefloor (or, right now, living room) sideways.

The AA side 'Exhale' packs a progressive punch in equal measure, built around beautifully crafted synth lines and infectious melodies with some serious low end rigour for late night moments. Exhale made its debut at Woodstock 69 in 2019, grace a our old friend Hernan Cattaneo, and it's been that elusive 'ID-ID' ever since, popping up in numerous sets from Hernan and Nick Warren since last summer.
