Warm bass chords, driving kicks and great textures built with his amazing work on the strings we feel truly honored to bring this release on the table for you all.On remix duty you are to face a brilliant line up, lead the way by an always returning starlet in our genre, the great AKI Amano hailing from Japan. With his trademark melody work, isn’t he in the very top flight of building it up you think?It was with great pleasure we handed over the original work from Roald in his hands and man, we are blown away to say the least, it’s pure mint melodic work coming up here, the true “AKI style”!The 2nd remix comes from fast rising starlet, Markus Hakala, the producer based in Finland. With a great rework, you are to catch some fresh ideas on an already lovely track. We won’t say too much to you, but be ready for a brilliant and stunning breakdown including some magnificent guitar play to die for, it’s just gorgeous and we fell for it right at the first listen.Last out is another remix from a new name on our roster, French riding talent Sean Eryx. Being seen only once so far outside his Ifonika imprint where he also do the work, that time on a remix made for Fuzzy Recordings, we now are pleased to welcome him to our house. He has put in a slightly deeper approach here, with some really cool and emotional melodies lined up to give Roalds original idea another dimension, we are thrilled to have him with us with this nice piece of progressive music.Overall another solid package that we hope will gain support among a lot of you out there!

"She" is a collection of two groovy progressive cuts, presented by our latest Arrival roster addition: UK-based artist Glaue.

The title track takes off with a beautiful atmosphere, including soothing bassline notes, subtle piano stabs, and refreshing percussion elements. Intricate arpeggio melodies emerge in the background, and shortly thereafter, a breathtaking motif builds up slowly. As the song progresses, numerous new melodies are introduced, thereby continuously spell-binding the listener. The B-side, "Vortices", begins with a haunting soundscape, heavily dominated by a mesmerizing bassline and enthralling vocal stems. The energy builds up nicely towards the break, in which intriguing chords make their entrance. Later, enjoyable piano stabs emerge, while various sound effects and mix variations keep the listener inspired.

We are delighted to finally get the chance to unleash the first full EP from an artist that we had on our radar for while now, as we see Poland based producer bring on another release to the scene, this time through our PHW imprint. You have seen him on our label lately with the exceptional “Sunset Trip”, brought on to our latest PHW & Friends compilation as well as being on a remix just a few weeks back. 

Now he return with 2 high flying melodic gems on the label, as we first out see “Three Nights In Doha” take a spot as the opening track. This is a wonderful melodic progressive track, packed with rolling melodies, chord progressions and well patched textures to bring the best out for the European summer. We are totally fine with you, having this one on repeat! 

Next up, comes the production baptized as “Hundred Days”. This one, an oozing melodic gem packed with high octane energy, fantastic textures and that melody driven progressions that so often takes us on a journey. 

We can’t say less than that he’s nailed it once again for us, and we can’t wait to see the reactions on this one.

ROALD VELDEN - BEHIND EVERY PICTURE EP [PHW288]

We are truly delighted to see the return of an artist that has been with us literally from the beginning as we see one of the brightest shining stars on the scene, when it comes to melodic progressive music, return to our PHW imprint, this time with an enormous 4 track EP. 

With the Dutch “man of melodies” - Roald Velden - making a return to us, we of course feel truly honored and what an amazing package you have in front of you.

With the title track, “Behind Every Picture” you get a good idea what this guy is all about, as he makes another absolutely amazing production through this track. With lush and warm melodies, superb textures to keep a majestic atmosphere, we let him him shine with this euphoric production. 

Second up is a track named as “Paper Planes”. This one is another melody driven production, packed with atmosphere, lovely hooks and all that superb tension and smoothness that is all about Roald Velden music. Close your eyes and follow with on another absolutely brilliant journey from the Dutch maestro.

We are keeping it truly progressive when we go to the third act on this release, as we are to dream away with Roald once more through his track baptized as “Little Things”. Through the small melodic piano rolls, he once again delivers something absolutely amazing. Warm harmonies through smooth pads, evolving textures and everything inbetween really shake things up here to give that brilliant touch we always see from him. 

Last out, is another highly delicate production, this named as “Years From Now”. It’s following the same path and you will definitely know who is behind the production. Warm and evolving melodies takes us through, etching those melodic arrangements to our brains. If you ever feel relaxing is a good thing, well then Roald is to give you that through “Years From Now” and we can’t see you will regret taking on the journey together with him. 

4 masterpieces from the Dutch phenomenon if melodic progressive is your thing, mark our words, we hope you all will enjoy this wonderful journey!
