Juicebox Music welcomes back the Saint Petersberg (Russia) based artist extraordinaire - Jiminy Hop. His productions have been widely appreciated by fans and DJs alike, earning releases on progressive-based labels like Nick Warren's 'The Soundgarden' and Stan Kolev and Matan Caspi's 'Outta Limits' to the more house-based labels like Sabb's 'RADIANT.' and Alex Kaspersky's "Dear Deer".

After his successful debut on our imprint with his single - "Tension" in early 2021, which also featured remixes by Aman Anand and Monojoke, Jiminy Hop returns to our imprint with a stunning standalone 3-track EP, featuring "Summered", "Contemplation" and "Desire". The entire EP is a perfect embodiment of its sun-inspired theme with playful rhythms, bright tones and ethereal emotions conveyed through a whirlwind of melodies and harmonies.

Even though Callecat is relatively new to the scene, the Dutch duo have been making a rapid rise to recognition with their continuous high quality output. The maturity of their productions would make you believe they've been around for many years already.

Now returning on Paul Hazendonk's MNL label after last years well received 'Cabin In The Woods' EP and- more recently- their remix for Brann's single 'With No Mask', they delight us with two powerful pieces of progressive house; 'Akrasia' and 'The Alchemist'.

On remix duties we've got industry veterans K Loveski and Namatjira sharing their unique vision on both songs.

Dunadry, Francisco Basso - Lost in Dagobah (Mauro Augugliaro Remix)

Presenting their second release of the year, Antrim’s Or Two Strangers welcomes Sebastian Sellares back to the label for a new EP. The Cordoba resident has been one of the imprints core artists since first appearing in 2019, with five original productions released over the course of a prolific sixteen month stretch. UK behemoth Anjunadeep, Cid Inc’s Replug Records, GMJ and Matter's Meanwhile and US powerhouse Proton Music have also served as landing spots for the Argentine's mesmerizing productions, while progressive music tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren continue to champion his sound. With the year being highlighted by the recently released Replug vehicle ‘Sky Above’, a joint EP project produced alongside fellow countryman Ezequiel Arias, Sebastian now returns to Or Two Strangers with a three track showcase entitled ‘Blizzard’.

EP opener and title selection ‘Blizzard’ finds Sebastian operating at the peak of his creative powers. Fuelled by tough driving beats and layers of hypnotic percussion; it’s Sebastian’s stirring melodies which ultimately shape the piece into a memorable dance floor slam. Colourful cascades emerge leading into the main break, sitting in an emotional headspace and bringing with them trails of balmy atmospherics and effervescent effects, before eventually breaking off into a drop of rebounding rhythms and heartwarming chord changes.

Selection two ‘Elements of Nature’ lands with an equally impressive display of craftsmanship. Sebastian re-affirms his ability to tip a late-night dance floor over the edge, with wobbly grooves and hip-swinging percussion laying the foundation for misty atmospheres and smoky instrumentation. Sitting comfortably in an ethereal yet thought provoking space, thumping beats rise out of a soulful strum-led break into an ever-evolving, free form finale.

The EP’s final selection ‘Hypnotica’ finds Sebastian continuing to diversify his portfolio with a whimsical creation that’s nicely dialled for the sunrise hours. Deeper in design and highly stylized in delivery, its beautifully contoured, funk-fuelled groove sets the course for incandescent melodies and otherworldly harmonics to create a panoramic musical skyline. Often celebrated for his ability to create emotional themes, Sebastian has ventured further with the ‘Blizzard’ collection, into a time of true innovation, traversing a multitude of realms and dimensions within the progressive spectrum, while excelling throughout.

In time, a new beginning creates a snapshot of autumnal colour. Gentle mist rolls across canals that interweave through a vibrant city. An hourglass slowly sifts its grains of sand as a plethora of sights and sounds are generated in synchronicity over days that wait for night to fall. The bustling Leidseplein is filled with chatter by day, while dislocated melodic patterns drift across Rembrantplein as twilight turns to night. Nothing is off limit at the stylish and atmospheric ClubNL and the aural rush created by the Sugar Factory then leads east to tempting rhythms found across the Panama canal.

There is no one better suited to give Supermode’s immortal hit “Tell Me Why” a 2017 rebirth than Code Red boss Marcus Schossow.

The Swedish songster looks to finish up 2017 in fantastic fashion. He brought his Code Red imprint back to life with his seismic hit “Rumble,” which worked its way into the sets of Kryder, W&W and plenty more. Then, he added his signature house sound to records like Axwell Λ Ingrosso’s “More Than You Know” and SOVTH’s “Boriquas”. Now, “Tell Me Why” illustrates his magic touch with house music.

Originally crafted by super-duo Supermode (Steve Angello and Axwell), Marcus Schossow quickly allows his style to take centerstage on this record. The anthemic and instantly recognizable vocals ring out while Schossow builds up layers of intense melody beneath them. These levels join together to form a particularly power and dark house vibe that Schossow has made his signature. This mastery of house sounds propelled “Tell Me Why” to be the cover track for this week’s Friday Cratediggers on Spotify.

More magic coming your way this week as we pull of a more trance inspired release this week with the fast in fame rising producer from South Africa, T Davids join back on the label. With a melodic and powerful progressive trance production named as “Aesthetics” he takes charge this week.

With a crisp and fresh sound design that we so often see from him, he is to send you a melodic journey from start to finish, blending with superb bass lines and fresh chopped vocals to bring even more intensity and flare to the production. We are stoked to see him join back with us and we do hope you see his great potential shine through once again.

We are extremely happy as well to bring on a debut on the label, with Mexican producer Ellez Ria joining us on the label for the first time. With a string of releases on other major labels as well, such as the Soho labels and Trance All-Stars he is no need of an introduction. With hs rework for “Aesthetics”, we see him shine from start to finish once again, as you see a great production where he blends clever melodic installments with some majestic groovy bass lines to bring on the full artillery of Ellez Ria to all of you. So of energetic grooves and driving bass lines is your thing, we feel the search for you is over with this new monster from him, and we are as said, delighted to have him with us in the PHW family. 

We are also happy to yet again bring on the sound design of Van Yorge once again to our PHW roster. The Poland native has spoilt the scene lately through his 2 different aliases, Van Yorge and Nuestro, and now return to us with an absolutely massive rework on the original. Fresh groovy saw sounds blend really well with the melodic creation to build this massive production up. We are as delighted as ever to bring Jaroslaw back on PHW, and we do hope you feel the same! 

All in all a superb release, with a brilliant tension and groove on all interpretations!

Onedotsixtwo continues to strike whilst the Progressive House iron is well and truly molten hot. Our 27th release bears the fruit of a magical meeting of minds, namely Australian favourite Matter & Sri Lanka's Prince of Prog, Dimuth K, with their Road to Stanton Moor EP.

Matty and Dim deliver two absolute belters for this release. The lead track 'Road to Stanton Moor' is a deep and throbbing builder with tight percussion and eerie effects layers that float in and out of the track, as it rockets towards a momentous breakdown that's guaranteed to send any dancefloor (or, right now, living room) sideways.

The AA side 'Exhale' packs a progressive punch in equal measure, built around beautifully crafted synth lines and infectious melodies with some serious low end rigour for late night moments. Exhale made its debut at Woodstock 69 in 2019, grace a our old friend Hernan Cattaneo, and it's been that elusive 'ID-ID' ever since, popping up in numerous sets from Hernan and Nick Warren since last summer.
