After kicking off Bella Ursa’s season 2 with our Nebula Aranea series, we’re delighted to present the first album of yet another talented individual from our hometown of Strasbourg: Nocto.

Nocto has been on a very intimate journey for years and seems to have evolved in a galaxy of his own. Drifting away from planet Burial to all kinds of pop-infused nebulas, his music radiates a strong cosmic energy to which the Bella Ursa’s mothership felt spontaneously attracted.

Like a skilled woodworker, Nocto meticulously crafts his music using percussive sounds and soundscapes directly borrowed from Mother Nature. In his imaginary world, She has recently regained Her sovereignty over a civilization blindly guided by technology and over-information. Specters can still be heard roaming in between concrete walls and the ever -present vegetation…
Is it a dystopia or utopia? We’ll let you decide by going on a trek amongst these 12 tracks of ritualistic patterns guided by the sound of bass music.
They’ll be released digitally on all downloading and streaming platforms, but also as a beautiful cassette tape with a visual design by Nocto himself.

Mr. Clarinet (taking his nom de guerre from the song by 'The Birthday Party') brings Dead Channel an EP steeped in crispy, undulating modular synths and broken, fizzy rhythms. With prior releases on Phormix, Spomenik, and Low Noise Productions, the deft producer has constructed an experimental fugue rich in texture and density in Vividly Leaving.

Releases on limited flesh cassette and digital on November 19, 2021.

Forty minutes of dark atmospheres in an evocative mix of dark ambient, ritual, darkwave, drone, industrial and noise by the head of Donations Project, with a remix by J. Mardaras member of Amor Eterno. The album is presented in a limited edition cassette of 20 numbered copies under a careful presentation in a silk-screened cardboard box.
