I wrote this song as an instrumental.  I then wanted to make it something I could play with my string quartet.

I recently bought a fretless guitar.  I have been experimenting with how to play this guitar in my songs.  I chose a fairly simple riff to highlight the note sliding of the fretless.  This song starts in the key of A Minor.  Then, in the middle, switches to B Minor.  The end is a series of half step moves back to an A Minor.

My Little Circus World (Tribute to Fellini) - Featuring music, that touches

Michael Klatte (music, that touches) and I decided to collaborate on a song. I sent him a draft of this idea. He then worked on it and created this melancholic piece about Fellini's circus movies. I saw La Strada and felt the mood perfectly fit the events in La Strada. I then changed my original piece about to fit his additions and add a little Fellini sound at the beginning and end. My Circus World (Tribute To Fellini featuring music that touches)

An instrumental I wrote and make little changes each time through.  This song raises each chord by three half steps.  So the key changes every time the chord changes.  The versus are major chords"  G, A#, then D.  The choruses are minor chords:  E Minor, G Minor, and A# Minor.  The bass line rises during the versus and declines for the choruses.

This song is in 5/4.  This song is about Black Jack Randall from the book/series Outlander.

Black Jack

A song in 5/4.  I play guitar, bass, and viola.  The guitar is a PRS Tremonti LE,  The bass is a MiM Fender Fretless Jazz bass.  The viola is played without effects.  All other sounds are those available in Cubase.  This is in the key of A Minor.  The viola improvisation was made in one take.

Dental Surgery

This song is in 5/4 time.  It feels a little off to me.  Perhaps I hit too many bad notes.  Maybe I overloaded it with instruments.  I play nylon string acoustic guitar (3 tracks), fretless Jazz bass, violin, and viola on this song.  Other sounds are midis available in Cubase.  My DAW is Cubase.  I use Izotope - Ozone for Mastering.  The title comes from the street we lived on in Chesterfield Missouri.
