Member of Le Pas-Sage, the crew behind Fata Morgana Festival, and resident on Ola Radio with her bimonthly show “Teardrops”, Poiçon navigates both in fresh water and in deep seas.

Witch Trials will release his anticipated new EP CANNIBAL CULTURE on 18 September in the form of our second vinyl release. The upcoming EP spans genres and journeys between contemporary dance, electronic, house, and breakbeat - showcasing the progression and expansion of a standout artist continuing to evolve and reinvent his craft.

The new EP from Witch Trials delivers a time-travelling thrust of rave culture, melodic riffs and atmospheric beats that would work the dancefloor as hard as a solitary listener at home – experiencing the tracks in confinement.

“CANNIBAL CULTURE… it’s the voices in your head that guide you, the demons in the night or day I overcome, the time I close curtains to obscure the light. It's the carnivorous force that kills, it’s the kindness of the crowd on the dancefloor, it’s also the power to continue to create. London-based, American-born, and Irish-raised artist Witch Trials releases the visual for his new EP CANNIBAL CULTURE. Confusing the lines that bound or bind art and music, the visual captures the fusion of trauma, light after dark, and a chthonic realm of solitude. The photographic concept and the sound world push distinct interpretations of the mediums and work alone or in harmony.

The EP is executive produced by Witch Trials.

@vaunamusic first entered the electronic music scene 2016 as a DJ and live-act, quickly making a name with his rhythmically funky, genre-crossing sound. Constantly shaping and refining his style, vauna’s live sets and productions have developed into contemporary techno, combining groovy, dusty rhythms with dirty industrial percussions and ravey synths. As a DJ, his track selection is naturally guided not by genre, but by vibe, sound and an everlasting love for playful weirdness. Dedication to creating unique arrangements and sounds has always been at the heart of vauna’s musical work.

With his live shows & DJ sets, Claude B established himself as an emerging and promising figure on the french electronic scene, starting to perform in Nantes (FR) in 2021.

He is the founder of the collective Solstice and later Mauvaise Ambiance in Paris with his friends & colleagues formerly of TRAX Magazine, and he navigates in his productions through varied inspirations from pure techno to more experimental electronic works.

His latest EP, Spectral Matters, demonstrates an accomplishment in his recording techniques but this new EP Newbie is more intimate. Concluding the EP on a softer but equally intense note, with expressive synths, soulful melodies, plenty of percussion and white noise and a driving trance bass, Newbie reaches a state of acceptance and places both artist and listener in a fresher world where they can finally rebuild.
