After their remix of 'Ritmica La Noar' from Eliezer & Mufti, included on Eliezer's recent release on Play Pal, French duo Kimshies are back on board, this time on our mix series, with one hour that faithfully reflects their signature sound of raw, cold and twisted analogue grooves.

In 2004 they released "Chicago 72", limited to 500 vinyl copies and it was not until May 2018, when the public discovered it during Solomun's 'Cercle' set at the Orange Roman Theatre.
Peo Watson and Bijou Williams have known each other for over 20 years now but it was in part this late exposure, what made them get back together in the studio and start making new music again. Music  we've seen released lately on labels such as Aeon, Ombra Intl, Duro or with us at Play Pal.

A quarter into the century, Swedish producer-DJ-song writer Johan Blende has found his passion for making music again. With a record out last year on Sweden label Studio Barnhus, forthcoming releases on some of Europe’s leading electronic music record labels and more material in the bag than ever before, 2025 is oﬀ to a bright start. During the 2010s he was enjoying success releasing records mainly on Belgian disco label Eskimo Recordings collaborating with singers Mattie Safer, Gustaph, Kelli-Leigh,

Mickael Karkousse & Rebecca Scheja, along with remixing a variety of acts such as Lana Del Rey, Ms Dynamite & DJ Fresh, Korn, Skrillex, Goose and Klaxons, producing for bands like Fenech Soler & Le Galaxie and playing records in nightclubs across Europe, the US and Asia. To follow, a long overdue break was needed in order to explore things

outside music further and to try and get his inspiration back, a break which is now coming to an end.

Born in Stockholm he currently resides in warmer climates down south in Athens, Greece. The long love for all things disco is still there to be heard but the new material is also expanding on his more eclectic & electronic music roots whilst also slowly getting back into his first love in music craftsmanship that dates back all the way to the mid ‘90s

the fourth installment of our tripcast series has finally landed. for the very first time we exclusively curated the tunes straight from our beloved record bags. hence it is an episode we hold very dear to our hearts although or maybe just because it has its certain imperfections here and there. even the mandatory needle jumps (iykyk) wouldn‘t prevent us from sharing this little set as we just enjoyed ourselves so much recording it during a lovely afternoon session. in our humble opinion it captures the essence of the series quite faithfully. feel free to give it a listen and to dance uncontrollably.

Actually, Morgen just wanted to pick up a couch in Berlin. Somehow I ended up playing this year‘s closing set at freihgefühl. 

I put together a romantic, harmonious and trippy set. Full of clicks, love, synths, songs and organic electronics. While playing this set, I found my way back to music – or the music found me. You never really know.

A set of mine at the beloved Kauz, one of the most inspiring clubs in Zurich's underground scene. My goal with this set was to combine and mix different genres, as with many of my other sets. Here, I mainly chose dub, minimal, and electro beats. However, I tried to incorporate some groovy tunes in the second part of the set to motivate people to dance on a Sunday evening.
