The journey is the destination. The musical ritual is a meditative and mystical process. Looping, listening to and overdubbing subsequent instruments creates layer after layer. The entire ritual is a series of many sessions spread over several months. The recording is a selection of themes that emerged during this magical journey.

In "Ritual I" it is a journey that begins at the edge of the forest. The rhythm tapped on the logs along the path appears spontaneously amidst the chirping of the birds. The woodpecker also joins this song. Each next note is another step deep into the forest.

This time the ritual takes place in a wetlands. Guided by the croaking of frogs, step by step I fall into a blissful stupor only to realize that I am being swallowed alive by the swamp. Slowly and laboriously I disappear.

A musical experiment blending genres and sounds, from doom and stoner to ambient, ethnic, and synth. Traditional, virtual, and handmade instruments complemented with samples and field recordings. Piercing drones, chorale frog singing, melodic ukulele, and crushing bass guitar harmonize.
