These don't fit perfectly, but there were some parallels I wanted to check out

Our names are Eric and Shirlene Beckmann, and we are A1RL1FT! We're a husband and wife duo from San Jose CA, and we specialize in making electronic music with vocals, especially melodic dubstep. However, we are fans of other styles of music like acoustic, singer/songwriter, and ambient, and have produced tracks in those genres. We started this project during the pandemic for fun and also to push ourselves to the next level!  Our goal: make the biggest sound for the glory of Jesus.

There are multiple meanings behind the name, A1RL1FT.  One of them comes from the popular board game Pandemic, where “Airlift” is one of the special action cards.  This special card often comes out of nowhere to save the game, and can turn a losing situation into a winning one.  We wanted to capture that emotion in our music, looking to express those messages that, if heard by the right person at the right moment, can change someone’s outlook and bring hope where there was none.
