it is a piece made for a radio drama. The story takes place in space. One of the planets is inhabited by a chief Ubundu with his tribe. The word "Ubuntu" comes from the Bantu languages of South Africa. Sometimes this word is translated simply as "Togetherness". A little closer to this meaning is "I am because you are".

We were invited to interpret Olgierd Zbychorski's graphic score, resulting in the piece released.

The project is a dialogue on several levels. First, it is a dialogue with the musical notation of F. Chopin's Nocturne, which Olgierd transforms and, in a sense, graphically interprets using motusgraphy. Thus, it ceases to "mean" in the way that a score does and precisely defines its direction. It therefore loses its utilitarian value, becoming a metaphor for capturing what the score fails to convey—a moment, the performer's gesture, breath, shifting energy, and emotion.

The next level of dialogue represents a reversal of the accepted order in music performance. The transformed nocturnes served the artists as a graphic score. By musically interpreting the lines, spots, and dots, they create their own work based on the work.

The preview of several compositions took place in January 2025 in Olsztyn at the Amfilada Gallery during the KYO exhibition - Olgierd Zbychorski & Masafumi Koshio.

The Nocturnes exhibition is planned for 2026 in collaboration with the Fryderyk Chopin Institute.

Project Kodama is an electronic trio co-created by Paulina Bukowiecka, Magda Kruk and Igor Torbicki. The music to be experienced is filled with piano, synth harmonies, remarkable rhythm and melodic sound space wrapped by an unusual Theremin instrument.
