The latest single taken from No Fantasy Required, “Blondes Have More Fun,” is accompanied by a trio of remixes from contemporary electronica royalty: prolific Swedish producer on-the-rise Jonas Rathsman, Running Back boss Gerd Janson, and international house and techno breakout du jour, The Black Madonna.

Said Tiga of the Jonas Rathsman remix:
'I'm really impressed with the Jonas Rathman remix of “Blondes”; it manages to be delicate and powerful at the same time, a really smart version of my song, subtle and emotional and exceptionally well produced.’ 

Jonas himself stated “I was so happy when Tiga asked me to remix ’Blondes Have More Fun’! I love the original and I felt that the vocals were perfect to work with. I didn’t have too long to turn it around in between touring! But it all came together so quickly and I’m super happy with the way it came out. A transcendent state in which there is neither suffering, desire, nor sense of self. Our next excursion brings us to the idea of ‘Nirvana’. Self described as psychedelic techno, Franz Alice Stern leads the release with a trance-like, meditative track. 

Miss Melera makes her Polymath debut with a deep and melancholic trip. With important releases on Chapter 24 Records, and Berlin’s Traum Schallplatten, we felt Nirvana was a fitting theme for the artist. As uplifting as it is dark, the track builds momentum through an infectious groove. A break makes space for new musical ideas, until a final climax ends in a melodic release.

Marseille duo, Fathers, take a different approach. Gentle melodies flitter in and out of the ear adding to the refreshing mood.

Hot Creations gear up to drop the eagerly anticipated House & Pressure from hot property Route 94. Echoing the excitement that surrounded his No.1 hit My Love, which shot him to stardom, the record has been in serious demand for months. Now finally ready for release he showcases his versatile skills as a producer over three heavy-weight tracks.

Rowan Jones aka Route 94 explains how he wanted to “put out three tracks that were diverse yet definitive.” Title track House & Pressure packs a real punch and contains the vocals from Joey Negro's classic Ride the Storm featuring Linda Clifford. The dominant female vocal on ‘House & Pressure’ combined with the force of the drum machines is a traditional element that people connect to the Route 94 productions. With ‘Crazy Bitch’ it’s a more of a big room sound, incorporating ghetto elements. ‘Dark Keyless’ is the complete opposite, creating a groove that aims to grab the crowd and let them loose.

This year has seen a succession of big releases and remixes from Route 94 that cement his place amongst the dance music elite including the recent hit Mind, Body & Soul on Crosstown Rebels. The talented producer first saw fame reaching No.1 in the UK charts with My Love featuring Jess Glynne. Keen to remain on the underground scene, he followed with releases and remixes on Leftroom, Defected and Hot Creations. Overwhelming success followed as he performed at the likes of fabric, Sub Club, Space, Ushuaia, DC10 and many more. With a wealth of new material still on the way and a hectic touring schedule in place, it’s clear this is only the start for the young artist.

Dutch producer Ferreck Dawn and German mainstay Robosonic go head to head on their dancefloor smash ‘In Arms’. A firm favourite with Low Steppa, Sam Divine, Franky Rizardo and the whole crew of residents when it was road-tested during the Defected Australia tour in early 2018, the thumping, bass-focussed track received a huge reaction from crowds with its tightly-harmonised earworm vocal.
