My first vocal track with the iOS setup. The vocals are improvised and live looped, the music was completely performed in Korg Gadget, and no sampling as usual. Enjoy!

Emerge and See

This track was recorded in one take live using an iPad Air running Audiobus, Loopy, Figure, NanoStudio being controlled via a MidiFighter 3D mapped to a DrumRack and an instance of Eden on a separate bank. I mapped the XY pads to the MidiFighter 3D. All of this was recorded into Loopy via AudioBus into 12 separate 8 bar loops which were triggered by the Twister. This is hopefully helpful to someone because collaboration is useful no matter your musical persuasions!

Fade to Heal

This track was recorded in one take live using an iPad Air running Audiobus, Loopy, A custom template for Novation Launchpad hardware/app and NeoSoul Keys Rhodes plugin. I used an iPhone 5s running a Lemur template controlling an internal Audiobus chain of Magellan Jr. running into Beatmaker 2. These were with an iConnectMidi2+ using Ableton as a "pass through" for both Audio and the ability to utilize Python scripting such as the Launchpad95' script to be used in the mobile realm. MIDI Controller setup, DJ Tech Tools Midi Fighter 3D, Midi Fighter Twister, Launchpad Mini, QuNeo, and 2 KMI K-Boards all passing through Ableton but controlling the iPad Air and iPhone 5s. This is hopefully helpful to someone because collaboration is useful no matter your musical persuasions!

Wubbing It

This song combines my early jazz roots with an electronic edge. Nothing was prerecorded. Made use of AfroDJMac's amazing Rhodes plugin. Performed using a custom Lemur Template for iPad as well as an Android template and my trusty Midi Fighter Twister. Recorded live using Ableton. Enjoy!

This song was performed using the Korg Gadget App for iOS, two Keith McMillen K-Boards, an iConnectMidi is feeding the audio into Ableton allowing me to expand my looping ability. No prerecorded samples were used and this was recorded in real-time. Enjoy!

Turnado - Recording 2015

I make music because I can't imagine being without that in my life. My goal is to use technology combined with the oldest instrument around, the human voice, to make music as purely as possible. By this I mean getting the sound you imagine out in the real world as close to real time as possible. I use iOS applications in real time to create a range of tones and atmospheres with thick harmonies and layered rhythms all spliced together to create something that I am truly proud of.
