Tribal motifs merge with field recordings while synthesized animals call out over exotic hand percussion. Jams on vintage synths meet 8-bit sampling bounced onto spring reverbs and digital delays from the 80s.
 
Started mid-pandemic, this collaboration ignored the surrounding havoc and social distancing, instead focussing on Good VibesTM and positivity with a genre-defying approach belying trans-continental origins. The result is a playful symbiosis that is PHatter than the sum of its elements.

Mytron is Jacek Janiszewski, a pan-European multi-instrumentalist, producer and DJ, born in Poland, raised in Holland and Germany, and now living in London for the best part of a decade, his releases, for labels including XXX, Codek, Bordello A Parigi, Multi Culti, Nein and Les Yeux Orange, herald a similar nomadic spirit.

Zongamin, Susumu Mukai is a composer, producer, and illustrator based in London. He has released records on Multi Culti, Flesh Records, XL recordings, Ed Banger, ESP Institute, and AD93, and has remixed for Air, John Cale, Trevor Jackson, Sandro Perri, and others. He is a member of groups Vanishing Twin, V/Z, Holy Tongue, and Stalactite.

Since 2017, @Alyona_Perevalova has been a seeker of rare sounds, collecting everything from African drum beats to forgotten 80s hits and the latest electronic vibrations. Her sets are journeys through musical worlds. She has played on stages in St. Petersburg (TestFm, Mishka, Union, Machty, and others), and now, inspired by Tbilisi, she has put together a mix of dark tracks that will make listeners not just dance but transform into a bat, soaring through the night streets.

Chile’s Matias Aguayo debuts on Rekids with ‘El Internet’, the first single of his upcoming album on Radio Slave’s acclaimed label. Coméme co-founder Aguayo’s ‘El Internet’ is a dancefloor-tested, pumping and uptempo track with personal, intimate vocals phoning in.

Chilean-born musician and DJ Matias Aguayo has been active for three decades, co-founding the Cómeme label in 2009 and releasing work on the likes of Kompakt, Pschent, Hard Fist, and Permanent Vacation. Beyond music, he has organised underground parties and led social projects, including a theatre production at Le Châtelet in Paris.

Radio Slave’s Rekids was founded in 2006 and has since spawned successful oﬀshoots with the Techno-focused Rekids Special Projects in 2017 and its newest sublabel, REK’D, in 2024. With Matt Edwards as the sole A&R, Rekids has been crucial in developing early artist careers and has become a haven for established acts operating in House and adjacent genres, having recently featured the likes of Hilit Kolet, William Kiss, Tal Fussman, Spencer Parker, Katerina, Sean Johnston, and many more.

Matias Aguayo - El Internet

Underground Deception is the latest self release from Stash Magnetic. The inspiration for the song came riding in on our psychic theta waves late one night. A musician friend that had passed away messaged through the timelines to offer the words 'underground deception' and the threads of the song wove into shape from there. Setting up the analog soundscape: the sonic inspiration for the track is Roland infused with a heavy dose of Moog. 707 percussion is immersed in an 808 foundation, channelling filtered 'space voices,' patched through a classic Moog ladder filter. This work has been timed to release in synch with April's Full Pink Moon 2025, after the galactic frequencies of March's lunar & solar eclipses surrounding the Spring Equinox opened a rare portal of infinite possibilities. Rude Audio's Dub Mix (aka Mark Ratcliff), is a lush, dark, subterranean wormhole with an infectious 303. Welcome to the unified field of dub spacetime! So pleased Mark could join us on this journey. A year on from Dawn Again's pubwave classic Every Dog's Hotel, the Australian producer returns to Hell Yeah with more dreamy, breaks-driven downtempo brilliance.

Melbourne-based Nick Verwey won plenty of new fans for the sunlit, lo-fi sounds of his last album. It came after years of making music for, and playing records to, people who like to get down anywhere from rooftops to beaches and living rooms. The prolific producer has released on the likes of Houseworx and Enjoyment Division before now, and this new EP is another wonderfully dreamy and carefree outing.

'A Day In The Life of Pond Algae' unfolds over a lazy, dubby groove that is gently brought to life with bulbous synth loops and shakers, sunny chords and little smears of sound that pass like clouds. 'Guided Meditation For Dancefloor Nirvana' picks things up with dusty broken beats and instructional spoken words that encourage you to breathe over painterly synth strokes and effortlessly cool grooves. 'Vanilla Sky' lays you out flat on the lawn, the beach or the lounger and has you gazing up to an azure blue sky as gentle drums and synths wash over you like a cooling breeze. Lastly 'Crying Outside the Stadium' captures the magic of later afternoon on a summer day with more blurry pads and vocals and hints of cosmic melody that lead you towards nightfall with a loving hand.

This is another superbly soothing soundtrack for a calming day of outdoor dancing.
