@bamaoyende - 95000 4 ever | I discovered this track from last year just recently and was immediately hooked by the warm and dubby sound in combination with the breaks and the sample I knew from one of my favorite Angel D'lite remixes. The Parisian artist Bamao Yendé is founder of @boukan-records and the title of the track refers to the Electro Harmonix 95000 loop machine.

@novelist - Mercy | Best MC of the UK. Period. Not only a rapper with an incredibly timeless taste for different styles, but he's also a great producer. This one was produced by Sus Traperazzi and comes with one of Novelist's signature impassioned verses. Came out via Oblig's new label @obligatedrecordsuk last month. Definitely also check out the Skee Mask remix!

Philip D. Kick aka @omunit - Replicant | Philip D. Kick is Om Unit’s experimental Footwork & Jungle alias and this track was released on ‘Off World Tales’ via @astrophonica. I love how he's been experimenting with acid sounds in different genres and tempos lately, for example on the ‘Acid Dub Studies’ (2021).

@ossx & @tah_heaux | When you see the four letter O-S-S-X you can be sure this is a 100% banger. The East Cost trio of @lektorscopes, @equissss & @dj1elise are unbeatable at flipping samples of mainstream music and turning them into 160+ club tools. Having grown up listening to a lot of West Coast rap, this sample of course gave me goosebumps.

NANA LE VRAI & Yungpalo - Nicht aufhören | I still have a big thing for rap with sometimes slightly problematic lyrics. The two Bombaclart Bass affiliates dropped this one last summer and I especially liked the beat and the vibe. For someone who is into club music since years, it's super cool to see how sounds from that realm are more and more present in pop music right now.
