@space-ghost-1 - Aquarium Nightclub (Drift Mix): In 2019, Space Ghost released an album that carries the same name as the track and a bit earlier this year an EP with some reworks came out. Both versions are lovely but right now, I listen to and mix with the later version.

@everything-but-the-girl-official - Before Today: Most of you might recognise the voice and think about the 90s right away: “Missing“ was a huge hit (and still is to me). However EBTG has a lot more to offer and produced this playful, jungle-ish beauty that comes with those remarkable vocals.

Silk - I Can’t Stop (Turning You On): Each one of you could use some more soul music in their life. So I just decided to put my current fav into this mix.

May East, Alice Pink Pank - Maraka: May East blends traditional Brazilian rhythms with elements of rock, electro and new wave. Maraka is the perfect example of my love for Brazilian music and how influences are picked up anywhere and everywhere.

Kendrick Lamar - Sing About Me: To me, the first part combines melancholic storytelling on a master-like level with something like a lightness by just playing these simple guitar chords. Originally, the track has a second part. It’s just that the first one really works well without the other, too :) I still keep the plectrum of Kendrick Lamar’s guitar player from when I got to see him during his tour for good Kid, m.A.A.d City, which will turn 11 next month. Go (re)listen!

SAM started stepping out of the shadows rather recently. With monthly guests on her “Whatever Floats Your Boat” show on @callshopradio she has been introducing a musical vision since the beginning of the last year and also showed the more floor oriented side of that vision with her booking for the “II. Reihe sleepless” stage at @tarmac-festival. When she  plays, a lot can happen but most of the times it touches the soft spots. In her own DJ sets she carefully brings together a wide range of laid back styles from different electronica and lately she’s been getting a little housier.
