Penless Thoughts

Coming out of 2024 with a “Press Play” album (!Save Yourself) .. LsThaProphet starts 2025 right where he left off. Here, he brings you another musical biography (“When you pay your dues & it cost you everyone one of you idols”), of what seems, to bring light to more recent events that have taken place.

Following the release of his first FULL collaboration album in 2022, (A Guy Like Prophet), LsThaProphet continued to flood the local music scene with multiple albums, videos and singles throughout the rest of the year. 

In the midst of the musical melee, both LsThaProphet & AGL Kalz had plans to follow up with a sequel but shortly before entering 2024, AGL Kalz found himself facing many legal issues which soon after, lead to his incarceration. (FREE KALZ) 

But here, we see that they had music in the “vault” because attached with this single are rumors & whispers that the highly requested sequel (A Like Prophet Too) may be coming a lot sooner than we all thought. But until then, Trendi Topix leaves you with a teaser from the two Virginia natives.

Exposed Emotions

LsThaProphet was born in Norfolk,Va but was  soon after relocated to the small county of Lunenburg, Va by the young age of 5. 

So quickly uprooted and forced to adapt to new surroundings, LsThaProphet frequently found himself in and out of residential and detention centers by age 11. 

Having to adjust then readjust AGAIN, to the many environments he found his self engulfed in, Ls found solace & solitude only in the world of expressive art, music, drawing, and other forms of artistry like poetry. 

It was only when Ls started to write poetry, that he really began to feel like he’d found a way to properly express the years of suppressed emotions, thoughts and traumas. 

At 15, LsThaProphet took his first poem and decided to attempt & recite the words over an instrumental … Thus recording his first song and while it was a far cry from the artist you hear today he would still find a way to use the audio platform as a way to progressively articulate his most deepest inner thoughts.

Now 31 years old… 7 Albums later, Prophet brings you a more unique melodic sound. Combining lyricism, metaphors & wordplay with storytelling & relatable day to day struggles that many choose not to speak on.  All  the while still being able to simultaneously deliver his nostalgic “Lyrikal genius”, sinister style of rap. 

In summary….. If EVER you wanted to go beyond the surface to understand more, Look no further than the music!! ….. The one place where LsThaProphet seem to reveal the deepest parts of himself … Welcome To The Mind Of LSTHAPROPHET!!
