There was a certain curiosity about Lewis Fautzi's next step with us. Despite his own personal style, we couldn't imagine that he would choose to release a new atmospheric and experimental album. The result is absolutely stunning. 'Manner of Death' was produced during one of the worst moments of his life and the feelings he put into it are not relatable for most of us but yet understandable. Besides all this there aren't enough words we can write about it. All we can do is be thankful for such a masterpiece!

Our talent radar moves again to the north of Spain, more precisely the Asturian techno reservation. Hailing from Oviedo, Hugo Rolán has been exposed to electronic music since his teenage years working at the infamous club La Real. There his mind was impacted directly with the pure vibes coming from the UK, Detroit and Europe. On the musical side, he has been DJing since forever and over the past fifteen years has developed his sound in the studio, quietly, without stress, training his skills with music production tools until the time was right.

And what a better time to start his release output than a la label like Oscar Mulero’s Warm Up Recordings with a complete album called Origen Cero in 2022. Soon after he released another complete album, Futuristic Technology, on Jeff Mills’s Axis Records. An impressive debut in the scene.

We’ve been aware of his skills and sound and earlier this year asked him for some tracks, now it’s time to unveil them. Tiempo Inverso comprises five exercises of precise and scientific techno, starting with the beatless intro Exploración Dinámica, the ideal start of this voyage into the unknown.

Concepto Dictatorial follows, introducing the continuous and hypnotic beat spiced with shuffled percussive elements, hi pitched drones and obsessive bleeps.

Control Injustificado keeps the beat going, this time more dreamy and profound an ode to non gravity.

Vocabulario Experimental is another bleep galore, growing in intensity as the bars go on, perfect for dreaming on the dancefloor.

Imprecisión Calculada closes the space travel, keeping things busy rhythm wise, retaining the melancholic vibe on top, in its own intelligent approach to techno.

Madrileño, del barrio U.V.A de Hortaleza, comenzó sus andaduras, en 1998, pinchando en vinilo, influenciado por artistas de peso y músculo como, Óscar Mulero, Jeff Mills, Surgeon, Ben Sims, Christian Wünsch, dj Muerto, Pepo, Eduardo de la calle.

Regentando o siguiendo de cerca, salas miticas y propulsoras de la escena techno madrileña como Voltereta, Soma, The Omen, Overdrive, Épsilon, Van vas.

Un artista, atípico, atemporal, technofilico, amante del formato 12", y de los mixers analógicos como Rodec o Formula Sound, no muy fan de las redes, ni de los caminos marcados, sin importarle la popularidad, anteponiendo el hecho de sentir la música ante cualquier otra cosa, pero, sobre todo, humilde, siempre abierto a compartir.

Su terreno, la Rave, es lo que más siente y donde más cómodo se encuentra, y es ahí, donde ha ido desarrollando y marcando lo que es hoy, su propia línea musical, a la que el mismo llama ROKATECHNO. Un enfoque musical flexible, pero con unas bases muy marcadas siguiendo siempre un camino.

Sonidos Hipnóticos, industrial, birmingham, acid, atmósfera, grooving, detroit, experimental, son parte del ADN-ROKATECHNO

Ha realizado sesiones en menor medida, en salas pequeñas, como Daho club, La Riviera, Clam House Club, La Cueva, Black Star, Bailen 35, Volumen, lo que le ha servido para conocer en cierto modo, el ámbito de club.

Actualmente, su motivación es su proyecto Rokatechno, en conjunto con su compañera Zel3ste, donde las ganas, la pasión y diversión no faltan, y aunque lento, pero siempre firmes y con enfoque. A parte la posibilidad creativa con máquinas hardware, donde emplea prácticamente todo su escaso tiempo en la curva de aprendizaje para poder más tarde plasmar toda idea emocional posible, eso sí, siempre enfocada al directo. Y aunque el tiempo es su peor enemigo, sigue luchando por seguir hacia adelante. Buscando la motivación de manera constante.

Native from the middle French land, vinyls activist from 2000’s ending, A.Silentio started to make music to work one’s way up on his local scene before to be part of the new young Parisian’s scene with the Moebius and
first Drøm crew.

Based in Lyon, he was the first head of Partition Libre team, who made some events from 2015 with artists such as Mike Parker, Kangding Ray, Neel, Korridor, Dimi Angélis, or Takaaki Itoh just to name some of them.
One of Artistic Director of the Château Perché Festival during 6 years, he's also running now the Perchépolis label from 2021. A.Silentio is also the co-founder of the trippy and deep groovy Totem Rituel collective.
Either hypnotherapist, his music is driving by the "Mind, body and soul" spirit, influenced by the psychedelic wave, organic sounds and artists as Sandwell District, P.A.S, Muslimgauze, Donato Dozzy, but as well with a strong taste for the groove and other diversified electronic journey.

Mary Yuzovskaya’s vinyl-only Monday Off imprint delivers the sixth instalment of its various artists series, calling in a crew of talented artists to explore deep, cosmic anomalies and soothing modular soundscapes. Kicking off the compilation is Poland-via-Berlin artist Blazej Malinowski, a true wizard with sound, whose ‘Ocean’ sees rich textural synths crash like waves onto driving low-end. The Gods Planet, Svreca’s Semantica, and 012 artist is followed by Nonplus+ and Blank Slate’s Michal Wolski, who delivers ‘Essence’, a track boasting squelchy sequences, subtle acid and swirly psychedelia.

‘Black Moss’ is next, a minimalistic tripper by Xhato that expertly weaves rolling synthlines into sturdy drum work. Volume 6 of Monday Off’s compilation cements itself as another must-have collector's item for those venturing into the trippier side of techno.

Leader of the Biotechnology music platform and event series, promoting what is cosmic, psychedelic, organic and hypnotic in techno. Co-founder of the Densiflora platform, promoting house, techno and breakbeat with a deep or progressive character. 

His selection is best defined by the projects he is behind. In terms of techno-oriented version, he seeks to bridge the gap between a hipnotic, minimalist sound, motoric grooves and broken or tribal beats. In the more house-oriented version, he seeks a balance between deep depth and ecstatic atmospheres. 
Tranceiness is the common denominator of both musical versions, which allows them to be combined as required. He has performed at signature events such as Up to date festival, the Institute, Las Festival and Crescent London. He has shared the stage with artists such as DJ Nobu, Steffi, Edit Select, Valentino Mora, Alfred Czital, Shlomo, Justine Perry and Setaoc Mass.

Modesty and an introvert personality made this club veteran, devoted to music for a decade, wait a long time for due recognition. A passionate digger, compositional perfectionist, striking with elegant minimalism. He is responsible for the Syndykat (@syndykat71), where he acts as a promoter and one of heads of their association. Michał was getting his edge in the old Das Lokal; blossomed already at the second one at Solidarności plaza. The culmination of Holon project, created together with Porcelain Head, was their performance at Plötzlich Am Meer festival and Humboldthain club in Berlin.

Trying to follow his ideals of Detroit, in his thought-out, coherent sets, he plays with contrast, mixing the light with the heavy, and dirt with melodiousness. Although the omnipresent groove he usually bases on a regular metre, he often breaks the conventional techno with breakbeat. Enthusiast of playing closing sets.
