Inspired by the concept, Prospect Records launched a new series of periodic releases as input and output for all the new talents with high skills. Quality and research, as always, are our primary focus.

For Podcast 023 we invited a Belgian talent , Jeroen Meertens !

Jeroen Meertens is an artist and label owner hailing from Belgium. Under his self-titled moniker, he represents a unique and distinguished interpretation of sub-oriented and up-paced techno.

Production-wise, his music has gained international traction by getting support from the likes of Pan-Pot, Amelie Lens, Dubfire, Karotte, Ilario Alicante and Luigi Madonna to name a few. Jeroen's musical output does not however remain solely self-centered. He is the establisher and curator of the Belgian 'Tabulat' concept, wherein he offers a musical platform for fellow prospects in the scene as well as hosting club nights and festival stages.

Metodi Hristov and Gallya welcome DANZAH's new release 'Galactic' on their highly renowned label Set About. An EP characterized by its giant rumble kicks and monstrous atmospheres. 

“Galactic” is a mixture of sharp stabs and wobbly synths complemented with a smooth arp and sustained backing vocals to give it a strong peaktime energy.

The second track “Into the Depths“ displays its destructive energy with hard-hitting plucks, driving melody, and eerie synths to generate a raw and darker side to peaktime techno.

With releases on Stacey Pullen's Black Flag label, several on Tronic, and more recently on Laurent Garnier's Cod3 QR imprint Diego never stops experimenting and developing his sound. We felt was time for Diego Infanzon to showcase his broad talents in an album. "Go Back To The Basics" encompasses everything from house to electro and techno. Unrilis sets the summer ablaze with Inferno, a blistering new peak-time techno EP from Turkish powerhouses Zafer Atabey and OZBEK.

Zafer Atabey continues to solidify his presence in the global techno scene, known for explosive releases on EXTIMA, KD RAW, Renesanz, and beyond. A commanding force behind the decks and in the studio, his dark, dynamic sound is unmistakable.

OZBEK, a rising talent from Turkey, has carved out his own identity with acclaimed appearances on Tronic, IAMT, and Jeton Records. This marks another joint effort for the duo following previous signings on Set About and Ballroom Black, where their chemistry was undeniable.

A cerebral counterpart to the title track, “Mindwave” dives into darker, hypnotic terrain. Rolling basslines interlock with eerie atmospherics and syncopated stabs, creating a high-pressure groove with a deep, driving pulse.
