Ra And The River Of Night

Driving march.  All the riffs are simple and easy but because of the high/low contrast (and 8 string guitar), it almost sounds like two parts instead of one.  Tried a bit more melodic leads.

Inspired by Misha's drum tutorial so the song focuses on the drums.  Not so much focus on the guitar. Used Ola Englund's  Mesa Boogie Axe Fx patch and tweaked it for my my needs.

More melodic than my usual fare but still has some odd rhythmic elements.  I used a standard 6-string guitar tuned down a 1/2 step. But, I think the bass guitar is really the highlight/lead of the tune.  I'm not really that happy with the mix but then am I ever?
