PROTAANTA is the auditory project of artist/editor Nikola Pavlovic, focusing on his original music, mashups and the ZeroChill mix series - mixes with the function to emulate neurodivergent mindsets and how they influence music perception and how these approaches to DJ-ing and mix-making can stimulate the creative side of the craft, bringing together the most unorthodox of electronic genre mixes - mostly using very emotional and high-energy tracks to form perfect flow from the ensuing cacophony of sound - akin to how a neurodiverse mind can find serenity and meaning in chaos. By using the clubbing culture and dancing as a form of a psychological therapy - encouraging listeners and dancers to give in to all emotions, especially the negative ones as a form of an improvised zumba exposure therapy. With the clubbing scene being notorious for its emotionless, repetitive and derivative music and general over-pretentiousness - these mixes should offer anything but.

In 2019 after a near-death-experience and a mini nervous-breakdown I decided to punish myself and change my life. I decided to isolate - i could do only 2 things - work and work harder. No more hangouts with friends, no more parties - no more wasting time. Until recently actually I lived like that but i had to stop because I was getting cabin fever finally ! But it was fruitful - I quadrupled my mixing and other related skills - like making mashups and songs !
In 2021 i started working on my next Alien Rave.. And i said to myself - i will work however long it takes - but I'm not stopping until I make a mix that is 2 times better than alien rave 0 - which was a very tall order considering how much i struggled to make 0 and how much I thought then - that I've reached the peak of my skill ceiling (protaanta pro-tip-anta - there is no skill ceiling, you learn and grow your whole life) 
So... After more than a year of constant work on the weekends... 
After many sessions of depression and self doubt and other personality crises..

A mix that broke a man, a mix that made a man.
It's finally down. And it's currently holding the title of - my best masterpiece, my Mona Lisa my Sistine chapel.. All my life I've been an art chameleon - doing everything from poetry to video art - but this mix right here takes the cake and eats it too - it's just the best piece of art I ever did. And I would never say these things lightly, my friends can give testimony as how much self-critical and modest I am. I have 2 full mixes, just sacrifices - left overs from this one !
At multiple points of analyzing it I realized - I can do this better, but again from scratch ! And even crazier track selection than last time ! 
And its a doozy ! Listen baby, when life offers you another crack at fine tuning you take it..

Fun-Fact : It also contains snippets and bits from 2 cancelled(yeah really got unlucky there) podcast mixes i was working on ! One of them being a out-of-this-dimension 1 hour mix called Scisocore Essentials - a mostly broad mix of various IDM (or braindance if you prefer)genres, songs focusing on spoken word and spoken word as a percussive instrument, voice and drum distortions and fast BPM etc. etc. - just an overall balls to the walls borderline experimental dance mix that's supposed to induce schizophrenia in its listeners !

become a freak - as the world outside the club is descending into chaos - i dont want you to dance, chill, meet people, mingle, search for love, talk to friends, observe, be still or just stand in the corner - i want you to become a freak of nature - i want you to heal yourself with these beats and let it all out with a scream - lets turn that negative energy into light - on this stage you are no longer human - your name does not apply because it is a slave name - i want you to leave all your troubles behind now and focus all of your mental energy into healing through raving - take control - destroy yourself - i want you to pass out from exhaustion - this is not a ritual this is a exercise - our bodies are magic by nature our universe existing is the true hidden magic reality we are looking for - focus on the now - you are a zero and deal with it - what if when you die you will reincarnate into the dust particles of your decaying dead skin - because that is ok and you dont give a fuck about it because you are too busy to think about that now because you must focus on the now - empty both your body and your mind - rest from all those heavy thoughts because music is your religion now and your ears are your eyes and your body is a raving temple of you because you are a god that can heal any wound just by believing you healed yourself through music - its that simple and it works because you know it does - trick your mind into anger - sadness - awe - happiness - trick your mind to pump good chemicals that make you happy and boost the healing process - you know that a happy mind heals the body better - trick the body, trick the universe - to help you heal for these couple of hours of raving - if you have drugs flowing through you they fuel you now they help you focus on the music better and achieve the state of flow while dancing like all of our ancestors did because they were all shamans and ravers in the past because they knew the healing power of music and dancing - when you can heal your inner energies and your heart pumping to the beat - because when you are in the state of flow you are The One and you are one with the music - if youre listening to me and being like man i already know this shit better than you then go ahead motherfucker let me see that shit let me see you shine purity onto others and help them heal faster with your knowledge if you believe in some established religion then come on nows the time to show me if you earned those wings baby go on and heal yourself for me - this goes for everybody again now everybody i want you to help all the others by completely ignoring them and letting them rave - because they dont exist because i told you - nothing else matters now except you focusing on the music that heals you as you jump around like a freak while expelling all the evil demons and energies from your body - do it via skin - do it via crazy dance - do it by screaming - do it by imagining its evaporating from your skin as a purple haze i dont give a shit man - just believe and jump around like a freak jump around - jump around - you are sloowly starting to -

SEX & DRUGS & RIOTS & RAVES

Exorcism Zumba  is  designed to kill those who can manage to dance through the whole 2 hour Session.[1] In 2010, it was designed and made into a mock-up model by a Norwegian artist Sven Urbinas, a PhD candidate at the Royal College of Arts and Sciences in London. Urbinas, who has worked at an local gym as a cleaner, stated that the goal of his concept exercise is to take lives "with elegance and euphoria."[2] As for practical applications of his design, Urbinas mentioned "euthanasia" or "execution."[3] John Mallen, who served as president of the Philadelphia Zumba association for the Elderly, inspired Urbinas with his description of the "ultimate" excersise as one that "aims to provide a normal work out session of 2 hours for 24 people - and they all come back dead."[4] The full version of this mix was never preserved as it was deemed "Too unsafe for the general public and a crime against Humanity" by the Governor of the state of California where the excersise was tried to be done for the first time - the version here is actually a recreation based on the documents and sound samples left over by Urbina's in his prison cell after he committed suicide after the initial California "Zumba from hell" incident that left 17 people dead and 102 seriously wounded.
[4]In total of 3 student interns that worked on this restoration project went missing - never to be found by the authorities. This version has been heavily modified - to be actually listenable without incurring any mental or physical damage to the body in accordance with the Dangerous Information Preservation Act,  although experts at the Mental Health Initiative Society still urge future generations of researchers, to never actually try to excersise or dance during the whole duration of the mix - as it still seems to cause minimal physical injury in the form of twisted ankles and pulled muscles in the lower back and lumbar area - it is advised with caution to always have medical staff present on site in the case that the full version of the DJ Mix is to be played.
[6]The Exorcism Zumba moniker was actually adopted by a segregationist, new evangelist sect known only as - The New Parish - where the infamous and currently wanted for murder and kidnapping of one Jessica Biel - Pastor Franco Nerissimo popularized the term as he would play a heavily edited version of the mix to his followers during his sermons - to induce a kind of a psychotic and trance like state that allowed him total control over his followers. After this became public knowledge - the term Excorism Zumba got adopted by major media outlets and it became a widely known and discussed social phenomenon, both in academic fields and in the law enforcement agencies across the globe. It was rumored in the Vatican, and this is still a contested point and a cause for the serious Schism and the divide in the highest religious circles - that this re-edited version of the mix can actually rid people of their demons as a sort of a self exorcism action that requires no trained religious professionals, and that after the full exercise was done - a protective aura of - "Christ's Renewed Might" will envelop those who can do the exercise properly with the supervision of medical professionals, protecting them for many years to come from possible sleep paralysis demon possession.
