With the first release in 2025, Polyptych expands its geography and welcomes Croatian DJ and producer Isse Maraà. Having a rich background in the House and Dance scene under the alias DEKOVA, he has gone through an eventful path by working with such major labels as Warner Music, Spinnin' Records, and Heldeep Records, shared the stage with such electronic scene mastodons as Camelphat, Erick Morillo, Sam Paganini, Prok & Fitch, Carl Cox, Dennis Cruz, Mark Knight and many others. Now, he comes to us with his underground alter ego, with which Isse Maraà begins a new round of his career, bringing us his new release "Reverie". Two tracks with a simultaneously dynamic and atmospheric sound are framed by stunning harmonies and mesmerizing legendary vocal inserts, and a remix from the well-known and beloved Gai Barone adds depth to the release. Aman Anand - What's On Your Mind (Unusual Soul Remix)

From his home in South Argentina, Alan Cerra makes a welcome return to Particles with a pair of new original tracks and a remix from the iconic figure of Gai Barone, as he showcases "The End of the Line".

An artist with more than a double century of production credits to his name, Alan Cerra has come a long way since a debut for 3rd Avenue in late-2019. Since then, a host of original and remix production material has appeared on the likes of Mango Alley, Juicebox Music, AH Digital and Miss Monique's Siona Records. Finding his way onto Particles in July 2023, the "Opposite Ways" EP saw twin original tracks from the Santa Cruz resident grace the label with a pair of standout remixes from Blood Groove & Kikis and Sebastian Sellares.

Now returning, the title track is a pounding melodic house number that oozes bassline drive and rhythmic intensity. Haunting pads add delicate juxtaposition before a syncopated motif hints at what is to come. Maintaining its bass intensity through the beatless breakdown, "End of the Line" pauses for breath before the rhythmic foundation engages dancefloor force once more in the third movement. Moreover, the plucked motif of earlier phases comes full to the floor in a display of smooth production prowess.

Partner track, "For All Time" hits the ground running with a graceful grooved bass sequence and perfectly placed rhythmic backdrop. Evolving with easy elegance, a soul-stirring motif leads the way before being joined with cascading arpeggiated sequence and lead. A cinematic breakdown adds a swathe of new sound textures and shimmering emotion before the track drops into familiar groove-laden territory and searing synth through the second half.

Gai Barone has been a welcome addition to the Particles catalogue since a label debut remixing Verche's "Riptide" with some time production partner, Luke Brancaccio. 14 months later then saw an appearance on Mortinaire's "Amped" album remixing "Somewhere". With almost 750 credits to his name on some of the industry's finest imprints, the Bologna-based star with releases on such esteemed imprints as Sprout, Black Hole, JOOF and Afterglow, now reworks "End of the Line" with typical aplomb.

Making excellent use of the bassline dominance of the original, a huge low-end swell builds in energy before a hypnotising arpeggio, filters into range with its searing and vibrato edge. A chorus of effects and soundscapes then evolve before the heavy beat and offbeat hats drop back into a rhythmic collage. Waxing and waning with ease in a track chock-full of production and dancefloor knowhow, Gair Barone's reworking of "The End of the Line" is a powerful reminder of why the Italian sits at the head of underground dance's top table.

A new EP and a remix from Gai Barone have illustrated that Alan Cerra is far from reaching "The End of the Line".

PASINDU - Give It All To Me (Original Mix)

An artist who has been pulling up sizeable trees over the past 18 months, Hobin Rude is a welcome addition to the Proton Music roster with his "Found Myself" EP. Based in the Belgrade capital, the Serbian star has over 300 production credits to his name since a June 202 debut, with the likes of Roger Martinez's HIGHER STATES, Praveen Achary's Juicebox Music and Mango's Mango Alley amongst them. Now debuting on Proton Music, the title track is a superbly conceived affair with low-slung percussive groove, deep kick and cadenced bassline. As it evolves, a pitched down vocal cut eerily declares, "Found Myself" while a smooth and flowing lead line adds to the sonic tension inherent within. Pausing at the breakdown and dropping away to momentarily silence, the track soon falls back into the familiar refrains of earlier movements. "Awake Between Worlds" immediately excites with its rapid fire, off-beat hats and thumping kick while atmospheric pads wash over the rhythmic backdrop in textured waves. Haunting and evocative in equal measures, free-flowing chord progressions play out, keenly felt at the beatless but gently pulsing breakdown. Hitting the heights once more in the third movement, familiar rhythms come to the fore as a juxtaposed bass pattern sits underneath the smoothly oscillating pads.

A Proton Music regular, Dmitry Molosh has been at the vanguard of modern Progressive House for some 15 years and 700 production credits. Able to shine a powerful light on his inimitable talent through a host of original releases and remixes, the "Little Friend", "Winds of Change", "River Pond" and "Station" EPs have been notable additions to the Proton Music catalogue. Moreover, remixes for such celebrated names as Kastis Torrau, Trilucid and Paul Deep have showcased another side to the Belarusian's production talents, as Dmitry now works his magic on "Awake Between Worlds". Picking up the pace slightly compared to the original, a sublime sustained bassline creates dynamic dancefloor energy. Cleverly interpreting themes from Hobin Rude's track, Dmitry has shaped the coruscating pads into a series of melodic sequences that sit superbly alongside a rippling arpeggio at the breakdown. Hitting its straps in the second half, courtesy of a stirring snare roll, a growling bassline note delays into the distance as the arp and earlier melodic phrases make their presence felt again with a glorious new additional melody. The result is yet another hugely impressive remix from the Dmitry Molosh production vault.

With trademark style and verve, James Monro has been a significant contributor to Proton Music with a veritable feast of Progressive House since a 2013 debut remixing Juan Deminicis. Since then, the "Sanctuary" series has enjoyed 3 volumes while "In the Ether" represented a high watermark in August 2017 with a full-length album that exuded quality from start to finish. Remixes for the likes of Clawz SG, Desaturate and Rick Pier O'Neil are also among a slew of striking interpretations that have additionally helped shape the James Monro sound. Finding his way back to the label for the first time in 2 years, the James Monro remix is a pounding, rhythmic affair that captures the essence of "Awake Between Worlds" but transforms it into a sparkling new interpretation by intelligent use of original components and immaculately conceived additional production material from James' Brazilian studio. The result is a driving and pulsating remix that turns Hobin Rude's work in hypnotic dancefloor destroyer.

A superb debut EP creates an environment where Hobin Rude has truly "Found Myself" on Proton Music.
