It’s time to say goodbye, the first song in a series of three songs in honor of the farewell year. This has been requested by many and now it comes, a return to Hard Nrg and Hardtrance sound with plasma cannons and slicing hoover sounds!

The song is a tribute to the old masters of the genre, great people I can call my good friends; Lab-4, Captain Tinrib, Karim, Mishka, Choci and Gary D (RIP) and Weirdo, Interstate (Para-Dizer) and Etienne Picard. The next song in the series goes in an even tougher direction.

Morpheus had the last purple pill, yet didn't offer it to Neo. Since Neo din't question his choices or asked if there were other pill choices, Morpheus didn't say anything. If Neo would've taken both the red pill and the blue pill, he would've known that there were glitches(good and bad) in the matrix. The purple pill would allow Neo to understand that life is full of glitches and hacks and that the system is actually trying to patch up as many glitches and hacks as they possibly can to maintain control.

Isoja uutisia! Perustan uuden oman labelin, jonka alla julkaisen kaikki uudet asteen synkemmät, NRG, EBM, PSY/GOA ja ACID henkiset biisini. Parempi pitää nää biisit omissa käsissä kuin antaa niitä ulkomaille. Pohdin tätä pitkään ja kiitos vaimoni Sannan rohkaisevien sanojen, nyt se toteutuu.

Ensimmäinen julkaisu Mirage Voices on aika jättiläinen, yli 11 minuutin pituinen matka mielen synkkiin syövereihin rullaavan EBM bassolinjan, takovan New Beat tyylisen kompin, kummittelevien Goa/Psy henkisten äänien ja repivien NRG saha ja happo plasmojen kera. Olen elämäni ja urani aikana kärsinyt vakavasta ahdistuksesta, väsymyksestä ja päihteisiin, eritoten alkoholiin liittyvistä masennustiloista, joista myös tänä vuonna ilmestyneessä elämänkerrallisessa kirjassani kerron. Kuten biisissä sanotaan "It's good to hear your voice", on erittäin tärkeää olla itselleen rehellinen ja muistaa puhua sekä kertoa läheisilleen, perheelleen ja ystävilleen, kun voimat ei enää riitä. On myös tärkeää muistaa pitää huolta itsestään ja läheisistään. Meillä on vain yksi elämä.

Mirage Voices julkaistaan hieman myöhemmin kaikissa perinteisissä digikanavissa sekä Bandcampissa. Sitä ennen biisin voi kuunnella YouTubesta ja Soundcloudista, sekä luonnollisesti meikäläisen viimeisillä keikoilla.

Voodoo Magic

Proteus, real name Harri Andersson, is one of Finland's most well-known and respected DJs. Proteus concluded his extensive global 27-year-long DJ career with a sold-out nearly 3000 people performance at the Merikaapelihalli, Kaapelitehdas Helsinki in December 2022. He was known for his particularly energetic DJ sets and holds the dubious honor of likely having the world record for the number of broken bones at DJ gigs. He had a successful international career as a DJ / artist and was voted onto the prestigious DJ Mag TOP100 list twice. Additionally, Proteus was voted the world's best harder electronic dance music DJ twice in the Hard Dance Awards held in the UK in 2004 and 2005.

In addition to his DJ career, Proteus has been involved in music production for a long time and has been very active as an event organizer. He has organized and co-founded numerous events ranging from underground raves in the 90s to today's Utopia Festival at Kaapelitehdas and Kosmos Festival in Ristiina. He also operated as venue manager at The Circus concert arena in Helsinki for seven years.

Currently, Proteus act as the corresponding promoter of electronic dance music at Live Nation Finland. One of his biggest electronic music events was U Nation Open Air event at Kansalaistori in Helsinki summer 2023, featuring Eric Prydz as the headliner.
