Bodalia and CastNowski team up for a new funk-infused deep house release ‘Get Down’ out 17th February via Smash Deep.

The track leads with a punchy 4-4 drumbeat adding in a kick to provide a funk-infused beat before incorporating deep low-end basslines and simmering synths. Melodic female vocals capture the excitement and longevity of a night out with catchy lyrics that will have you ‘dancing on the disco ball’. ‘Get Down’ is a track filled with deep grooves that will ignite the dance ‘all night long’.

Bodalia isn’t just an award-winning DJ and producer; this talented musician from the UK splits his time between being an established DJ and producer and a Doctor for the NHS. Bodalia has become a hot name in the electronic music scene after remixing some of the biggest names in dance music, from Lost Frequencies to Nervo, signing remix deals with some of the most iconic labels, such as Sony Music, Ministry of Sound, Armada Music and Universal Music. His musical talent has seen him perform at huge stages across the world, from Tomorrowland to Asia and Ibiza; more recently holding a rooftop party on a London bus, performing to over 500,000 people. Along with his musical achievements, Bodalia also has a large social following, with him regularly posting content on his YouTube and TikTok account, racking up millions of views.

Canadian DJ and producer CastNowski is renowned for his house music, with his music being streamed over 1.1 million times in 2022 alone, across 171 countries. His previous tracks have been released on Don Diablo’s established label Hexagon and his tracks has received support from titans in the dance music scene such as Martin Garrix, Afrojack and Tiesto just to name a few. With both CastNowski and Bodalia making waves in the electronic dance scene, their productions are not one to miss.

It's accompaniment ‘STIMULANTS’ delivers on its promise, a full-bodied dancefloor workout packed with plenty of energetic tension thanks to a wired vocal sample. “The idea for ‘STIMULANTS’ came to us when playing frisbee at the beach in Bali. One of our young team mates has ADHS and we were talking about Ritalin and Adderall and the different effects on the brain and concentration. Her response: ‘We all need stimulants’. It really stuck so we had to record the vocal and make it into a 
track!”
