Odssey and Diètro join forces to produce ‘WHY’, a summery yet lyrically sombre EDM record that oozes a delicate energy while still being able to make you want to dance.

‘WHY’ channels thoughts of heartbreak in to a liberating and carefree anthem, acting as a sonic release of pressure. Masterfully crafted by two of EDM’s most exciting talents in Odssey and Diètro, the pair manufacture a string-laden and transformative electro house tune that takes the listener to a place of euphoria. This, paired with the songs emotionally present lyrics, makes for an all-round incredible EDM ballad.

Odssey began as a DJ at the age of 12, finding initial success in local circles in his home country of Belgium. Two years on from his first introduction to the world of EDM, Odssey made the transition in to producing his own works and since then he hasn’t looked back. In 2017, Odssey broke in to the production side of EDM with the release of his debut single ‘Happy or Not’, also making his debut at the coveted Tomorrowland festival that same year. Fast forward 5 years and Odssey has rubbed shoulders with some of the scenes greatest, like Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

Diètro is one of the most promising young talents in the scene today. At only 16 years old, there is no telling at where this young man can take his career. Despite his age, Diètro has amassed over 2m streams across the relevant services and even performed at Tomorrowland. The Belgian wonder boy is showing no signs of slowing and ‘WHY’ is a continuation of his fantastic track record thus far.

Bodalia and CastNowski team up for a new funk-infused deep house release ‘Get Down’ out 17th February via Smash Deep.

The track leads with a punchy 4-4 drumbeat adding in a kick to provide a funk-infused beat before incorporating deep low-end basslines and simmering synths. Bodalia isn’t just an award-winning DJ and producer; this talented musician from the UK splits his time between being an established DJ and producer and a Doctor for the NHS. Bodalia has become a hot name in the electronic music scene after remixing some of the biggest names in dance music, from Lost Frequencies to Nervo, signing remix deals with some of the most iconic labels, such as Sony Music, Ministry of Sound, Armada Music and Universal Music. His musical talent has seen him perform at huge stages across the world, from Tomorrowland to Asia and Ibiza; more recently holding a rooftop party on a London bus, performing to over 500,000 people. Along with his musical achievements, Bodalia also has a large social following, with him regularly posting content on his YouTube and TikTok account, racking up millions of views.

Canadian DJ and producer CastNowski is renowned for his house music, with his music being streamed over 1.1 million times in 2022 alone, across 171 countries. His previous tracks have been released on Don Diablo’s established label Hexagon and his tracks has received support from titans in the dance music scene such as Martin Garrix, Afrojack and Tiesto just to name a few. With both CastNowski and Bodalia making waves in the electronic dance scene, their productions are not one to miss.
