Fusing together deep-house reverberations and an underground, progressive-leaning build-up that adds depth to the soaring female vocal, as ‘Running’ simmers up to its pre-chorus apex, keys flutter and build the tension before an overspill of euphoria is unavoidable. “Freedom makes me feel alive” shines the topline through the speakers, the production standing bold and dense within its club-ready attitude and dramatic piano stabs as all of the attributes work in tandem to produce a knock-out of a track.
