His second Anjunabeats release of 2021, Argentinian producer Tomas Heredia continues to impress with new single ‘Eye Contact’. 

His third solo release on the label, Tomas’ recent offerings include the ‘Before The Ashes EP’ and ‘Gave U My Love’ which received support from Above & Beyond, Andrew Rayel, Ruben de Ronde and Ørjan Nilsen as well as a remix from Mike Saint-Jules. 

Also a prolific DJ, Tomas has performed at many of the world’s major festivals over the years, including Ultra Music Festival in Santiago and Buenos Aires, Transmission Festival in Prague, Gatecrasher Festival in Toronto, and multiple ASOT world tours.

‘Eye Contact’, out now on Anjunabeats, is another playful and uplifting offering from Tomas, which keen fans may recognize from his appearances on Above & Beyond’s Anjunafamily Reunion Tour.

First heard during A&B’s Group Therapy 450 set in London, we’re pleased to officially release ‘Always’, a collaboration between Ben Nicky, Greg Downey and vocalist Christian Burns.

Ben Nicky is a global ambassador for the fastest, toughest styles of modern dance music. His touring schedule is as relentless as his sets, which slide seamlessly from vocal euphoria to industrial hardstyle and psychedelic trance.

Releasing music since 2009, you can find Ben on labels like Ultra, Mad Decent DimMak, Armada and Spinnin’ and in the record bags of MistaJam (BBC R1), Timmy Trumpet, Andrew Rayel, Armin van Buuren, Diplo. Ben Nicky’s soft spot for the classic sounds of Anjunabeats are no secret: his recent ASOT1000 set in Moscow featured several slices of Beats nostalgia. 

Greg Downey is the owner of the ‘Skullduggery’ imprint, and has been releasing music since 2007, getting nods from Vandit, Spinnin’ Records, Kearnage, Who’s Afraid of 138 and FSOE. Greg is a regular on the trance circuit, recently spinning at Creamfields, Ministry of Sound, Dreamstate and Victoria Warehouse Manchester. His remix of Simon Patterson’s ‘Breath Again’ was a sleeper hit for fans of uplifting, vocal trance. This is Greg’s first release on Anjunabeats.

Christian Burns is a multi-platinum selling singer and songwriter who has collaborated with Tiesto, BT, Armin van Buuren, Benny Benassi and Anjunadeep’s Jody Wisternoff on 2020’s ‘The Spark’. No stranger to the charts, Christian’s band BBMak hit the UK Top 40 and the US Billboard Top 100. His most recent solo album, ‘Love Songs From Suburbia’, hit no.1 on iTunes in the U.S.

El Retsof, UK based newcomer to the Findike Records roster, joins forces with a returning face, Ukraine's Following Light, to deliver an electrifying two-track trip that'll make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up on end.

 
Lead track 'Neuro Diversity' gets straight to the point as its heavy, pumping bass pounds towards a glowing break that you'd never have guessed was coming with its extravagant display of steel drum-like layered chinks and chimes, leading to lighting strikes that'll blow your mind as the melodic bass drops and they intertwine.

 
The B-side on this is just as impressive as the A-side, but with a noticeably more uplifting edge. 'Synaptic Contact' creeps in with a sustained synth wavering with intensity like a hornet wasp on the hunt, and builds beneath a warm, celestial atmosphere littered sparsely with random echoing hits and crashes before reaching a climax that'll hurtle you into oblivion with the weight of a thousand suns.

 
We'd like to thank El Retsof and Following Light for this remarkable body of work that we know you will enjoy, and that we are very proud to add to the Findike Records catalogue. Let's hope it is the first collaboration of many.
