Presenting their Replug debut are Ric Niels and Kabi, with their anticipated new 2 track EP entitled "Kimica".

Hailing from Argentina, between them they have seen their music grace labels such as The Soundgarden, Mango Alley, Plaisirs Sonores, Plattenbank and more, with their unique progressive sounds.

Joining forces for their new EP, starting with the lead track "Kimica" which sets out as a flowing, moody, rhythmic journey alongside a fluid, resonating repetitive synth line which acts as the main hook, driving the track to a hypnotic crescendo break, only dropping out to reveal the core elements in a classy, well defined production.

The second track of the EP "Mutant" brings us to a slightly different feel, with pulsating rhythms, delayed synth stabs and lush chord progressions sitting around a cyclic synth line building into a superb piece of elegant progressive, which is sure to win over fans of their music even more.

The Kimica EP is showing us the unified production skills and future for Ric Niels and Kabi and a very welcome debut to the Replug family.

n artist with a diverse and storied relationship with the dance music scene, GMJ & Matter are proud to see Kasper Koman make his label debut with the twin-track “Sinking Sky / Biome”.

A veteran of more than a century of production credits dating back to a 2008 debut, Kasper Koman has seen his work signed to myriad high-profile labels including the likes of Plattenbank, Anjunadeep and Guy J’s Lost & Found. From central Netherlands, Kasper has combined trademark emotion with a powerful and evocative sound that has seen his music supported by such leading tastemakers as Guy Mantzur, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J himself.

Now debuting on Meanwhile, the “Sinking Sky” opener is characterised by a driving beat and metronomic hi-hat pattern. A running 16th note bassline pattern enters the fray in the second movement with a fizzing vibrancy provided by resonating and filtered effects. A cast of additional characters add to the overall sonic landscape including a beautifully juxtaposed pad progression. A spine-tingling breakdown provides acetylene-edged emotion via the extended bassline motif, before hitting its stride once more in the latter stages to wondrous effect and no small amount of production talent.

“Biome” continues the narrative of raw effects-laden power, while a strong kick lays the foundation for a piercing percussive groove, adding swing to the off-beat. A well-crafted sonic palette supplies a soft chord progression of Kraftwerk-inspired imagination as a meandering array of well-placed effects, white-noise washes and rasping bass notes create a mosaic of sounds. The result is a hypnotic, angular offering that keeps listener interest piqued without a central melody seeing the 6-minute piece fly past in an instant.

A welcome return to the world of progressive house sees Kasper Koman enchant and enthral with “Sinking Sky / Biome”.

This latest release on One Of A Kind showcases Around Us at the peak of their creative prowess. "On Our Way" is a stellar single that effortlessly blends intricate melodies, pulsating rhythms, and ethereal atmospheres, showcasing the duo's penchant for crafting immersive sonic journeys. From the first beat to the last, the track maintains a hypnotic allure that keeps listeners hooked throughout its duration.

A regular across the clubs of his homeland, Bahrein in Buenos Aires, Dorian Gray in Córdoba and Mendoza in Tucuman, Berni is no stranger to spellbinding sonic journeys behind the decks as well as magical production work in the studio.

Now making his Proportion debut, “Echoes of Lotus” is stunningly arranged into an “Intro Mix” that gently gathers pace after a stunning beatless opening that showcases an array of rippling arp, cadenced pluck and sweeping pad textures. A heavy beat enters the fray at the 2-minute mark, heralding a strong rhythmic framework for the free-flowing melodic textures that sit atop as hi-hats and shakers create subtle dancefloor intensity. Waxing and waning with ease, the track is a prescient reminder of Berni’s impressive talent.

Partner track, “Obsidian Bloom” opens with more traditional club-friendly characteristics as a four-to-the-floor kick creates a sturdy backdrop for ticking hi-hats and syncopated bassline to form a dark and dynamic foundation. A swirling lead adds sonic intrigue as it rises and falls with filtered intensity, sharing its space with a huge sweeping pad and white-noise effects. A stripped-back breakdown provides a moment for reflection as the third movement erupts via a filtered snare-roll, before dropping back into the powerful groove and a new immaculately placed melody that takes the track in an energising new direction in the second half.
