'Opening 2022 by adding new talent to their roster, Cid Inc's Replug Records welcomes Anaqram to the label for their debut EP. Hailing from Russia, the Anaqram duo has achieved measurable success since first emerging in 2020 with a trio of releases via Ruben de Ronde's Statement! imprint. It proved to be an auspicious debut for Moscow residents Anton and Maxim, who had conceptualized the project just a year prior. The duo cast traditional genre blueprints aside and were quickly recognized for a sound that carried the melody and emotion of progressive house, along with the groove-centric rhythms of tech-house and techno. Two years on and Anaqram now finds themselves with an impressive resume, highlighted by releases for Anjunabeats, Freegrant Music, Mango Alley, Songspire and UV, while electronic music icon's Above and Beyond, Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta and Miss Monique continue to champion their sound. Continuing that upward trajectory as 2022 begins, Anaquam presents their much-anticipated Replug debut entitled 'Conjunction'.

Getting the release underway and sitting as one of Anaqram's most heady productions to date is the title selection 'Conjunction'. Warm beats and a full, rolling groove set the foundation for a narrative of whimsical arps, uniquely tailored percussion and shimmering overlays. Pushing a poignant mood into the break; the duo marries ghostly vocals, warm bass swells and placid pads across the expansive interlude, building emotion with each successive pass as melodies open up, before eventually giving way to a thumping drop and key changing finale.

Rounding out the release are the pulsating grooves and intoxicating atmospheres of 'No Matter'. Mysterious and uplifting throughout, it's a collage of wavy rhythms and fuzzy stabs which captivate leading into the break. Charming vocal phrases and delicate arps further the story as the centrepiece unfolds, bringing with them hopeful moods and transcendent vibes, before a breezy drop puts your senses on high for an emotive conclusion. 

Operating at the peak of their creative powers, Anaqram continues to impress with their Replug debut 'Conjunction'. A two-track showcase which sets the course for what promises to be another stellar year for the Russian duo.'

Andrea Cassino is an artist with a rich musical heritage to his name. With a long and distinguished career in the underground music industry, he has consistently shone brightly under a number of production soubriquets. Now making his solo Proton Music debut, we are proud to welcome Andrea Cassino to the label with his outstanding, "Divine" EP.

With his then production partner, Cassino and Laben found themselves at the vanguard of a burgeoning progressive house scene in the mid 2000s. Regulars on Baroque, Tilth and Proton Music, the "Don't Be Afraid" full-length album for the latter was high-tide watermark of downtempo quality. Furthermore, Particles also played a significant part in the career development of the Cassino sound with the duo hitting the heights via a wealth of original material from 2009-2011, supported by the likes of Sasha, Markus Schulz and Hernan Cattaneo.

Finding his own musical path, Andrea Cassino then launched a highly successful solo career that has seen him become a notable contributor to the likes of Soundteller, Balkan Connection and Lowbit. Fired by a desire to see his music founded more upon the "techno and tech-house" genres, Cassino saw support for his releases from such celebrated quarters as John Digweed, Nick Warren and Nic Fanciulli.

Forming a partnership with fellow Italian, Danny Lloyd, Cassino has once again found success in a collaborative approach to his craft. Thus, under the Nocturna pseudonym, the duo has seen their original music find favour with Balkan Connection, while the "Big Bang" EP for Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat in June 2014, was yet another notable highlight in the Andrea Cassino production portfolio. November 2016's "Pigmental" EP signalled another highpoint for the Nocturna name as remixes from Rick Pier O'Neil and Desatuate and GMJ followed, with Andrea Cassino now making his long-awaited solo debut for Proton Music with the twin track, "Divine".

The title track is a wonderfully constructed slice of melodic mastery as a strong beat and clicking percussive groove lay the foundations for a delicately evolving piece to revel in reverb and delay-drenched effects. A wonderful bass line progression emerges in the second movement that then sees a sublime lead line, rich in counterpoint melody, find its mark in an evocative breakdown, before joining forces with its rhythmic partner in the third movement climax. The resultant track is a "Divine" and classy affair.

"Charlotte" continues the clicking, popping percussive variants of "Divine", while a sumptuous blend of chord progressions emerges through thickly textured pads and rippling arpeggio lines. A warm and sustained bass rises and falls with consummate ease in the lower frequency range as a stripped back breakdown provides a pause for aural reflection in a moment of contemplation, before the dynamic rhythmic foundations once again anchor proceedings.

A pair of original tracks from the multi-talented and multi-faceted, Andrea Cassino, are simply "Divine".

A Proton Music regular, Andre Sobota has led the vanguard of underground dance with a catalogue of cross-genre tracks. June 2018 saw the release of the stunning "Robots" EP now rebooted with a pair of new remixes.

An artist with a sizeable reputation that continues to grow at an exponential rate, Luka Sambe has come a long way since an early debut for Looked Records in August 2014. Indeed, a double-century of releases has seen the Australian sign his music to some of the industry's most influential underground imprints. A regular on the likes of Cid Inc.'s Replug, Guy J's Lost and Found and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat has seen a raft of original releases find their way on to the setlists of the DJ elite and June 2018's "Rululu" for the Cattaneo led imprint providing a quartet of tracks of the highest quality. 

The "Family Tree" was a notable 2016 highlight for Particles and, having recently remixed Dan Sieg's "Something's Not Clicking Right" alongside Quivver for Mango Alley, Proton Music is honoured to welcome Luka Sambe to the label with an outstanding reworking of "Held Over". With intricate detail and exquisite precision, a hypnotic percussive groove paves the way for a beautiful and shimmering play on Sobota's melodic phrasing. Evolving delicately, a meandering, freeform motif builds to a mid-point zenith before a huge beat and seismic bassline drop into the third movement with additional pitched elements providing the perfect juxtaposition.

Award winning Middle East DJ on multiple occasions, Subandrio Sinhawansa continues to carve out an ever-expanding career within the underground dance scene. Scintillating performances behind the decks has seen a host of global appearances captivate audiences with spell-binding sets while a production career has also provided considerable success. A distinctive "deep, dark melodic frequency palette" has led to over 150 production credits across a host of high-profile imprints that include, Perspectives Digital, Balkan Connection and January 2018's "Fugue State of Mind" on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music. A regular on Particles with remixes of Andre Sobota and Lanvary combined with appearances on the seasonal Particles compilation series, a trio of remixes on Proton Music for Pete K, Tim Penner and, most recently, Matter's "We Are Dust" in May 2018, is now followed by a fourth.

Taking on the title track, the Subandrio remix of "Robots" is an intelligent reworking of Sobota's original as strong beat and rapid-fire percussive hi-hat groove provide the perfect foundations for a luscious melodic tapestry to weave itself into the rhythmic pattern. Using components from the original to great effect to create a launching pad for his own production material, a coruscating arpeggio and plucked motifs combine effortlessly with huge white-noise washes and pulsating bassline to great effect.

Remixes from Luka Sambe and Subandrio have created a free-flowing movement for Andre Sobota's "Robots".

"An artist with a long-time association with the underground dance scene, Subconscious Tales continues to chart an impressive path. Now returning to Proton Music, he marks a full EP debut with "Magnectares".

A Latvian artist with global renown, Ivas Tilix has seen his reputation grow steadily through his Subconscious Tales soubriquet and a unique brand of music that captures "something truly dark, yet melodic, deep, yet powerful". Able to confront his craft from a very personal and constructive angle, Tilix has been able to produce a breadth of music that sees him bare his musical soul with extraordinary and unrivalled effect.

A regular on, Suffused Music, the Subconscious Tales debut on the Lithuanian imprint saw the four-track "Till It Begins" find its mark in August 2014 before May 2015's "Arris" took centre stage. Further work for such behemoths as Balkan Connection, Mistique Music and Rimoshee Traxx have continued to showcase Tilix's work with additional multiple appearances on the best-selling Visceral compilation series.

Making his Particles debut remixing East Café in June 2017, the sublime three-track "Twisted" EP followed the same month. A Proton Music debut saw Subconscious Tales remixing David Calo's "Chronomatic" in December 2017 and it is genuine honour to welcome him back to the label with the twin-track "Magnectares".

The title track is a strong free-flowing work that revels in glorious percussive flair with its rich groove and plethora of ambient and spot effects. Hitting its stride in the second movement, a bouncing bassline adds depth, weight and dancefloor prowess before a driving arpeggio creates a dynamic melodic denouement at the mid-point breakdown. Picking up the rhythmic foundation again in the third movement, bass, percussion and melody combine to striking effect in the second half.

"Arkaya" continues the Subconscious Tales penchant for deep and resonating rhythmic grooves as a contemplative opening then makes way for an effervescent and cadenced bassline. An array of motifs and sumptuous melodic lines are juxtaposed against the rhythmic elements to fine effect, coming fully to the fore at the breakdown. A sustained chord crescendo then leads the track into a deep an inspiring third movement full of imagination, guile and craft.

A very welcome addition to the Proton Music catalogues, Subconscious Tales provides a moment of class with his twin-track "Magnectares".

In the twenty fourth release in the label catalog we have exotic EP called 'Sacred Ladder' from Younes B. The pack contains three original compositions and a massive remix from Justin Cholewski for title track.
Younes B is a global ambassador of House Music. From Marrakesh in the middle of Morocco, Younes was instrumental in the development of the electronic scene in the early 90s, he took the flourishing electronic Moroccan scene to the rest of the world.
The title track 'Sacred Ladder' perfectly opens the EP. Uplifting percussive house groove is filled with ethnic vocal motives and beautiful electronic vibe. 'Alla' is the second composition in the release with a fat driven bass line, full of ethnic melodic motives and percussions. The third composition 'Lilia' has got a deep house vibe with an uplifting build-up and cozy feeling. Justin Cholewski delivers an energetic Melodic Techno remix for the title track 'Sacred Ladder' that is dedicated for the big dark rooms. Tight beats, repetitive groove and dark electronic sounds create a delicate underground mood.

The content of the “Tears of Africa” EP has already been heard through Black Coffee’s Essential Mix, along with presence in various streams and live shows around the world.

“Far Away”, the opening tune, features the haunting vocals of Lyrik Shoxen, taking you on a mental trip to a beach in the ocean, dreaming of your loved one.

Next up, two tracks featuring Candy Man; Tears of Africa and Qamata (featuring Tabia), express the sound of afro house in 2021, melodic, percussive and emotive.
