Boss Axis - New Dawn (Manuel Meyer's Night Remix)

After quite a hiatus the Ex-Kölner and semi-new-Neuköllner artist Johannes Klingebiel eventually delivers his follow-up record to his much-loved "Latewood" EP on Feines Tier. And this time he says, go big or go home! Alles oder nichts. All or nothing. The title track is probably the fastest track he ever released (he tried to slow it down a notch... didn't work!) and is overflowing with all kinds of emotions with the utmost urgency any dancefloor can achieve. When this tune is on, it really feels like everything is on the line! The a1 track Xero is more relaxed on that front, grooving and jamming away on a simple synth-pattern, which could basically go on forever if you'd just let it. The remaining original Zopf is label honcho Philipp Fein's secret favorite of the record and a piano house banger maybe not in its purest but definitely in the most Klingebiely form. Some wonky chords and tipsy high notes, what else do you need?! On the flip you'll top class remixes by Innervisions staple Marcus Worgull and Spanish up-and-comer Gullen, who put their own personal spin on two of the tunes.

Eli & Fur close out this year with a celebratory nine-track collection of reworks of the original material released on their first studio LP, “Found In The Wild”.

The duo have brought together a hand-selected eclectic mix of friends and peers to reinterpret their “Found In The Wild” project, each artist stepping up to the plate to lend new context to their standout track of choice, re-presented in a new light for extensive dancefloor use.

The first drop from the remix album came courtesy of Anjunadeep mainstay Marsh, who has already garnered BBC Radio 1 support from Danny Howard with his rework of the sensual and otherworldly, “Wild Skies” which glistens in cooperation with the girls’ textured sound palette laid down in the original.

Along with stellar cuts from acclaimed producers, Fur Coat, Ben Yang, Polar Inc and MOLØ, Eli & Fur have also included their own special club mix of “Come Back Around”, a fan favourite and standout moment broadcast earlier this summer in the girls’ cinematic performance film, “Found In the Wild Live”.

Eli & Fur’s club mix sits alongside a dark and brooding interpretation of “Come Back Around” from long-time close friend and scene affiliate Maya Jane Coles. Fresh off the back of releasing her new album “Night Creature”, Maya has previously remixed for Gorillaz and Massive Attack. The machinelike precision of her drum programming chugs throughout the mix with a steampunk hiss, leading listeners down a hypnotic trail of industrial synths and ethereal vocal manipulation.

South-African native THEMBA bursts into action with a no-holds-barred percussive workout, shifting the laid-back aura of “Walk The Line” into an organically evolving menagerie of traditional drum splashes. An important figurehead for the South African electronic music scene and recently named ambassador for the Bridges For Music Charity, THEMBA draws on his trademark sound forged from his African roots which unfolds fluidly through the energy-charged percussion of the girls’ original album track.

Internationally renowned for her dreamy soundscapes and hypnotic rhythms, Italian born and classically trained Francesca Lombardo provides a gorgeous contribution to the compilation with her take on “In Too Deep”. Lombardo delivers a slow-burning and delicately balanced reformation - a swirling, space-age quality has listeners ensnared into a trance-like stasis, fighting the urge to sway in time with the vocal accompaniment as it glides through the arrangement.

That feeling when you know something is about to end so you enjoy the most out of it? That’s what French DJ and producer Notre Dame delivers with YUMI. 
It’s that last track that’s playing when you look into your best friends eyes and think about the night you’ve just had together. It was heavily supported by Solomun throughout the summer.
Next to the title track we have „Story of My Life“ - dramatic, almost fragile, with a relentless kick at its center that’s encircled by a gentle arp.
And closing off the YUMI EP is „Atom“. Its suspense is building like a Kamikaze fighter approaching their target: slowly at first, but without mercy.

Sound Avenue presents the Deep Motions EP from Brazilian producers Cipriani and Hans Gerd. The three-track release features the title piece Deep Motions alongside Woods Acid Adventure and Antares, offering a refined blend of deep, melodic, and progressive sounds.

Based in Brasília, Hans Gerd made his first appearance on the label group with a track on the Dimensions compilation and later contributed releases to both 3rd Avenue and Future Avenue. Known for his warm-up sets and his role as co-founder of the local collective Altar, Hans brings a detailed and organic touch to his productions.

Cipriani makes his debut on Sound Avenue, following recent collaborations with Hans Gerd on 3rd Avenue and Future Avenue. Together, the duo showcases a natural creative chemistry, delivering an EP that captures the deep, percussive, and evolving essence of the Sound Avenue sound.
