Producers from over 14 different countries bring us 21 original songs, with lyrics from 7 different languages. 

Popular well known artists such as Canson, Dance Spirit, LUM, El Buho, Matanza, Hraach, and Alejandro Mosso,  alongside fresh new artists like Rodrigo Gallardo, Spaniol, Armen Miran, Niju, V i V i D, Florista, and Peter Power, blend naturally with Sol*Selectas artists such as Sabo, KMLN, Goldcap, and SAAND. 

The track list is a journey itself, going from South American mid tempo, to Shamanic downtempo, to Middle Eastern deep house, to Latin tribal house, to Playa tech, to Ambient cumbia dub. 

Each song represents the multicultural influences of the artists, and shows the diversity of the Sol Selectas sound.  

The artwork by Helia Jamali visualizes the themes of summer and sunshine together perfectly.  This compilation will be released on the 1st day of the Summer Solstice - June 21st. 2016. " 

We hope these songs bring you joy and happiness, invoking feelings of positivity on the dance floor, a sunset on the beach, or even an early morning sunrise in the desert.

Hraach's "Burned the Strings" is a fine example of how deep beats, layered with his signature undertones, fuse with his Armenian roots.

Following two monumental releases on Crosstown Rebels, Serge Devant is back onboard the label to deliver one of his best to date. Serge Devant has been turning heads since the seminal Fearing Love feat. Camille Safiya dropped in 2015 on Emerald City, picking up the Best Music Video award at the 2016 Hollywood Independent Reel Film Festival. Welcomed back onto Crosstown Rebels, No.19 boss Jonny White aka Art Department delivers a raw, techno cut in his Modular Perspective remix. Jonny has seen almost unparalleled success in the world of dance music and continues to be at the forefront of the industry with a huge focus on his record labels and his in-demand label showcases that take the name of his vinyl only label, Social Experiment.

Frankfurt’s Reboot brings his flavour to the release with intricate percussion and deep underlying pads. Growing up in Sven Vath’s Omen Club, the talented musician now spearheads the ‘new sound of Frankfurt’ and has released on a wealth of labels like Circus, Moon Harbour, Cadenza and Get Physical.

The No. 016 on Plötzlich Musik is the Gyaan EP of the great Sous Sol. They get supported with two remixes by Nikolas Noam (@nikolasnoam) and Hari Erhardt (@harierhardt).

Sous Sol's music is generated by two individuals, Teo and Lukas, who are putting their entire personalities into their art. Their releases have been published on imprints like Gorge's Re:fresh Your Mind and on Mihai Popoviciu's Cyclic Records. Additional stations include: What Happens, Bondage Music, Hive Audio and Marcus Meinhardt's Heinz Music. Sous Sol also teamed up with three colleagues to run their own label named Neustadtmusik. Overall, Teo and Lukas are true club musicians who know their turntables like the back of their hands and as they never stop exploring the musical world they live in, the duo is
successful in creating fresh new music. We are super happy to heave this great artist and lovely people with us in the label.

After Nikolas Noam did the number 014 on Plötzlich Musik, we where amazed and straight asked him todo a remix for us. He is a Germany based artist and producer from Leipzig. Noam’s music is recognized as blue vibe house with a subtitle pop appeal. Noam has released on labels like Blankhaus Music, Union Jack Records and Cimelde.

Hari Erhardt is managing the label Plötzlich Musik together with Beddermann & Dahlmann since early 2016. He did a quite groovy tool remix and sends you on a subtly journey.

The artwork is done by Robin Kowalewsky. A symbiosis of audio and visual art coming soon on Plötzlich Musik.
