"Now is a time of change. From the evolution of my label Bassic Records into Stone Seed, right through to the intensities of global current affairs and so much in between. My 333 mix is a marker of this change, of growth, but also a reminder to make sure one takes the time to feel what it really means to be human.

Creating this journey has in itself, been such an incredible journey. Fulfilling the 333 mix for Flow Music allowed me to dig deep into my collection and present angles of my sound that more rarely see the sunlight, but resonate with me so deeply. The canvas of 3 hours and 35 minutes allowed me to express energies of euphoric electronica, through deep progressive techno, psychedelic prog-house and an extensive emotive spectrum of electronic music.

Flow Music has been showing immense support to the Australian and global music communities since early 2020, intertwining our island region with the rest of the world. I'm grateful for their work and to have been given the opportunity to showcase my craft with them.

From the first winding and pensive breath of "So to Speak" featuring Ryan Ferris of Beacon Bloom glory, we wait, baited. In general, this is a house track in its nature that crawls with deep yet feather-light undertones. However, entering stage left is the unmistakable sound of electro; this cuts through via the pop-orientated vocals of Bloom. Layered from start to finish, "So To Speak" ensures electronic frenzy backed by a mosaic of fluttering percussion.

⇸ Kosmos Festival is very special. Finland and it's people welcomed us with so much warmth, from entering the country, right through to my experience at one of the Nordic regions key psychedelic music festivals. Stone Seed took to the Spacetime Stage on Friday night for our label showcase, which I completed with a two hour set as the daylight slowly dripped through the tree tops and the sun gradually rose. The Spacetime Stage was a cove deep in the Finnish forest, fitted with epic stage design, decor, lighting, visuals and honestly the creamiest, tightest sound system I've probably ever heard.

I can't wait to return to Kosmos <3

Progressive Astronaut Review: The release concludes with Ezequiel Arias making his label debut and presenting his first production of the year in the process. The Argentinean artist had one of 2017’s biggest hits with a remix of ‘Tell Me’ by Galestian on ICONYC which enjoyed a six month run in Beatport’s Progressive House chart. A contribution to Replug’s ‘Defined 01’ collection rounded the year out in style and now his 2018 journey begins with a sensational remix of ‘Subside’. The tempo comes down just a touch but with a fuller, driving groove and radiant backdrop the effect is quite incredible. If you’re looking for an example of where progressive house sits at the moment this is certainly it. The reliance on rhythm and groove as opposed to overbearing elements has put the genre in a great place and Ezequiel has nailed that here. No doubt already in the sets of Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, expect to be hearing this one a lot in the coming months.
