The EP's blend of Latin, Caribbean and “Afro-Tek” sounds provides vast inspiration for a pair of remixers. Accompanying Bespoke Musik’s Baez, MOONTIDE produces a take reminiscent of his Colombian homeland. Now firmly entrenched “Down Under,” the hybrid live act draws influence not only from the Andes but also “water as a motif for the collective healing of the planet and soul.” Using spoken word and playful, downtempo instrumentation, the MOONTIDE remix cascades just like the life-giving liquid.
