Don't be fooled by robotic motifs – RWNS is an electronic battle cry for authenticity. There is no boxing, packaging and mass-producing his off-kilter drum beats, raging basslines and emotive melodies. Ben (RWNS) earlier caught the attention of the distinctive techno duo Dense & Pika releasing his debut album ‘Rose’ on their acclaimed Kneaded Pains label in 2020. 

The ‘Sedona Circle’ EP includes three originals and a special remix on ‘Morning Glory’ by https://soundcloud.com/eatseverything, the UK dance legend who is currently celebrating the tenth anniversary of his career. 

The release is filled with moments of pure clubbing bliss, from the euphoric undertones on the title track ‘Sedona Circle’ to the enigmatic structures supporting ‘Morning Glory’. The latter also got reinterpreted by Eats Everything on his ’10 Years of Eats Everything Remix’, stripping the composition down to its bones and transforming the track into one of his groovy club weapons that we all know him for. 

Ben (RWNS) comments; “The title track “Sedona Circle” is the product of a particular self healing journey I went on earlier this year. I participated in a 21 day ‘raise your vibration’ challenge where myself and others went on a guided mediation journey and were spiritually transported to a rock in Sedona, California. We were asked to combine all of our energy to try and create something magical and profoundly beautiful. During this process all I could hear was this euphoric music in my head. It was an incredible experience which culminated in the making of this track. 

It’s a real pleasure to have Eats Everything join me on this EP showcasing his trademark sound. I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing all of his achievements over this past decade, I’m very proud of him. It’s an honour to share this special moment with him on this release. Here’s to another ten years! Also special thanks go out to Sasha for all of his support. It means absolutely everything to me. “

Head Honcho Guy J returns home to Lost & Found with his first artist release for a while, and boy is this one to get the fans excited.

'Octavia' starts with tinkled marimba sound before a wash of low end oozes across, adding energy and drive, while pads gently caress as the percussive layers build. The melodics subtly increase, locking you under a magical spell, as you gently join in to its dreamy vibe. We land at its drop and are wrapped in a blanket of warmth before we kick back in landing us firmly back on the dance floor.

'Release Me' is an infectious voyage, with its bubbling bass meandering throughout, beautifully layered with a fantasy creating pad that doubles as a top line. this is one of those tracks that just works. A real treat for your ears, that will elegantly cause havoc to your crowd, in the most beautiful way.

Having worked together previously for releases on Be Free Recordings, DnC Limited and Three Hands Records, the trio’s studio synergy has been on the rise across 2019. Having provided fans with many memorable dance floor moments, unquestionably their most sought after track this past year has been an Edit of Florence & The Machine’s hugely popular ‘Jenny Of Oldstones’. The Original version was first aired as part of Season 8 of ‘Game of Thrones’, which Wurtz and Iberian Muse took to reworking shortly thereafter. Cid Inc’s Replug Records caps off a successful year by welcoming Dmitry Molosh back to the label for a new artist showcase. The Belarus native and progressive music favourite rounded out 2018 with his chart topping ‘Detektor’ EP for the Finnish imprint. 2019 has seen further successes, with EP’s for Guy J’s Armadillo Records and Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music sitting as the highlights. Now fresh off a contribution to Nick Warren’s Balance compilation, Dmitry lands back on Replug with ‘Cascade’.

Firmly sitting amongst progressive music's elite, Dmitry continues to deliver some of the genre's most beloved tracks with 'Cascade' being the latest in a long line of gems. Fuelled by rhythm and groove; it's chunky foundation, driving percussion and buoyant rhythmic core form the backbone of this exhilarating journey. Panning effects and emerging atmopheres smoothly segue into the main break, shifting the narrative further into melodic territory. Sitting comfortably in an ethereal yet emotive space, the lead motif rises, resonating on a warm and inviting frequency, gently evolving across a foggy atmospheric backdrop, before a gentle rush sparks a thrilling final act.

The companion piece ‘Step By Step’ follows suit with an equally impressive display of rhythm and groove. Spacious and energetic, it’s a creation built around rolling bass tones and vibrant chord stabs. Ethereal phrases and buzzing effects converge as the first act unfolds, while colourful vocal fragments shift energy into the break. Timely modulation adds drama and tension across the one minute interlude, ultimately reaching a swirling crescendo and perfectly setting up a powerful third act.

Dmitry’s long standing relationship with Replug has spawned several of progressive music’s finest moments over the last half decade. ‘Cascade’ once again follows suit and looks set to be one of the winter seasons most in demand releases.
