'Tim French is a British DJ Producer based in Plymouth UK. He spent the Nineties playing to large audiences across the South West of the UK including renowned nights Scream & United held at Plymouth's legendary Warehouse. Also playing at many popular clubs and nights such as Drop Zone & Boss Nova at the Sound Factory (Plymouth UK), The Monastery (Torquay UK), The Grove (Seaton UK) as well as various other venues throughout the South West of England. Throughout this time, Tim held residencies at Shine & Eyecon at the Dance Academy and The Candy Store in Plymouth. He has played alongside dance music greats such as Danny Howells, Quivver, Lee Burridge, Jody Wisternoff, Billy Nasty, Parks & Wilson, Nippa, Jose C, Breeze, Alan Luvdup, Tom Wainwright and Mark EG to name a few. Tim is Currently a resident DJ on the global 'Melodic Beats Podcast' platform.

In June 2020 saw Tim have his debut release Roodles 'I Know' on the newly established 'Melodic Beats Recordings' Label receiving critical acclaim with many Radio and podcast plays across the globe. He followed this up in November with his second release 'Short Stuff' on Legendary Progressive House label, Limbo Records featuring remixes from Nila and Pablo Gargano. This charted in the UK Upfront Chart For five Weeks at the beginning of 2021 peaking at No 8. 

On top of original releases he was part of the remix package for Prog House classic Gypsy ' I Trance You' also on Limbo records hitting the No 1 spot in the UK Upfront Dance Music Chart in December 2020. He finished the year off with a huge remix of an unreleased track from the mid 90's by Renaissance legend Nigel Dawson 'Walk With Me' alongside Nila and Jaap Ligthart on the Melodic Beats Recordings Imprint. 

"Having recently got a new analogue synth I went to give it a test run in the studio to see what it could deliver and boy did it. Starting with the Bass-line the track soon evolved from here with the sound getting bigger and bigger with epic pads and hypnotic melodies coming into play. The break needed something extra this is where the vocal sample came in. When I first heard it the words rang very true to how we have all been living our lives of late looking at pictures on screens whether it's video calls, movies, photos etc, it just fitted and took the track to the next level." "When Tim sent me the original mix of 'Pictures' I could immediately hear that, as well as being a great original, there was plenty of scope for my sound on a remix. As I went about building the remix up, layers kept unfolding, new riffs, loops and sound design kept suggesting themselves - it kind of wrote itself really, with me directing operations! So stoked with the way it turned out!" (Nick Muir)

'With such great parts our remix evolved really organically from Tim's original. The Bass-line was what we focussed on first. Our idea was to chop it up & warp it slightly then come in with the original Bass-line. Our creativity in the studio is at an all time high so we made quick work of the arrangement and introduced some of the new and older studio gear into the mix. The Korg Minilogue and our DX7 chords are featured heavily, kinda like the icing on the cake. When we heard one of our hero's Nick Muir was on the release it gave us additional inspiration." Get Physical Music revisit the Trans Orient Express album this February as they invite Kiwi to remix alongside DJ T. himself.

An outer-space vibe is struck right from the off on DJ T. 's reinterpretation of ‘Bedouin Ride’, as ‘80s synth sounds combine with emotive chords and deep bassline sequences that rumble down low. Kiwi’s dynamic version of ‘Bazar Break Battle’ offers a slick balance of sweeping leads, the original’s captivating vocals and sharp snares to produce a hazy and haunting production.

DJ T. aka Thomas Koch is a stalwart of the electronic music scene, launching Groove Magazine in 1989 and co-founding Get Physical, he has served up four studio albums and a string of releases via Defected, Moon Harbour and Play It Say It. His highly anticipated latest album ‘Trans Orient Express’ gained broad critical acclaim upon its release last year.

'Mick Wilson & August Artier, drop their penultimate release on RAWAX Digital - Aki EP, the third instalment in a compilation of four releases that make up the Kisetsu Series. This four track EP continues on the sonic journey as heard in the first two outings, taking in a new level of finely crafted electronic sounds.

Vol III of the Kisetsu Series freshens things up with a more upbeat delivery whilst still conforming to the same delicate musical balance found in the last two releases Haru and Natsu. Aki takes it back towards a club orientated sound, pulsating beats and define sounds, whilst still being subtle to appreciate from a listening perspective.

The Aki E.P. continues with the theme; four tracks that explore the deeper side of electronic house and techno guaranteed to capture the attention of the listener with its sophisticated delivery.

As with the previous EP each track throughout the series follows a numbering format that doesn’t dictate a running order, a simple marker as to the flowing nature of the music that reveals the greater musical composition as a whole within the defined numerical movements.'
