I closed my studio and moved to my friends for a while when I was creating Geni. You don't always need a studio to be able to produce. Sometimes the necessary inspiration can come from a place far from your studio. I can say that Geni is the most different part of me.

One year has passed since the release of Jan’s longplayer „Moj“. We celebrate the anniversary with the release of a rich selection of reworks, interpretations and outtakes. A wide range of friends and musicians gifted Jan with their very own view on the original material - turning piano pieces into delicious slow house, ambient into stomping beats and minimal synth-music into dancefloor-pleasers. Also, Jan shares an unreleased composition from the Moj Sessions called „Warm Linear“ and an alternative version of „Un : Dix“. This is Atemporal, a timeless sound journey through undiscovered cultures. Complex drum rhythms, touching melodies and characteristic bass lines take you into the world of KRAUT. The basic elements of the tracks were born in 2017. After four strong releases, KRAUT went back to the original sounds of his Especias EP (Shika Shika, 2016).

From that moment on, the ideas were moving and flowing, just like the rhythm of life works. Inspired by music from Central Africa, Nigeria, Ivory Coast , it evolved into a robust four track EP. KRAUT composed a sound bouquet full of warm kalimba flavours, driving djembe’s blended with punchy kicks and hypnotizing synthesizers. All of those various elements provide tantalizing dynamics, while bringing a down tempo club vibe for home listeners.

For the track Luna Nueva KRAUT worked together with Israel based percussionist Nadav Dagon. The artwork is made by Portuguese based artist, Agatha Barbosa.

They had forgotten me, but Daisy glanced up and held out her hand; Gatsby didn’t know me now at all. I looked once more at them and they looked back at me, remotely, possessed by intense life. Then I went out of the room and down the marble steps into the rain, leaving them there together. BIGz and Soire fell asleep again and awoke days later with Ersin Ersavas at Babel gardens. This is their second offering for Shango Records. This track will hold your hand into the great abyss. Alex Doering, Bodaishin, Juanma Salinas, Khaaron, ReBeat and Turu Anasi are the key keepers of the gardens.

Kútus is a music producer duo by Sebastian Gabriel & Distoport, a slow bpm project from Berlin. It means "howler monkeys" in Quechua language, spoken in the highlands of the Andes. The roots of this project are in Ecuador, Peru and their current home Berlin, Germany. This background is leading to an organic downtempo journey influenced by rhythms and patterns from different cultures of the planet we call our home.

MN.JA musical journey started in the classical field having sung opera and choir on international stages. With a passion for psychology, bodywork, and mindfulness she wants to share insights about the healing power of music, sounds and texts.
