Breaking the mould with another EP of high-quality original material, blended with a pair of outstanding remixes, Particles welcomes back K Nass to the label after success at the start of the year. Reprising that success, "Oedipus Complex" is now joined by a trio of original tracks as "Praiano" takes centre stage.

Part of Egypt's growing dance scene, a classically trained pianist saw K Nass with a strong musical background. Inspired by legends of the underground dance fraternity, Sasha, Digweed and Cattaneo became the template for K Nass to delve into the production arena. Quickly establishing a reputation, success followed with material for such leading imprints as Balkan Connection, Electronic Tree and Superordinate Music. Opener, "Sensory Deprivation" shines with its glittering arpeggio sequence that builds effortlessly, backed by strong beat and offbeat hi-hats. A loquacious vocal sample adds to the intrigue and slightly sinister air while the aptly named "Praiano", delights with its beautifully sculpted beats, carved from the musical rock face. In tandem, shimmering melodies glitter like sunlight off azure waves on the Amalfi Coast as, building hypnotically, counterpoint melodies emerge in a wonderful aural collage. "Patagonia" continues the sublime melodic themes of its predecessors, immediately placing a unique aural stamp on K Nass' work. Steeped in layers of melodic intrigue a languid groove and subtle vocal cut add to the track to create a sultry and breathless offering.

Argentinean DJ and producer, Matias Chilano, has grown steadily in stature and renown after an early introduction to electronic music production. An accomplished musician, a 2008 debut for LuPS Records has been followed by a host of production material that has seen more than a triple century of credits pass through Chilano's fingers for Balkan Connection, Soundteller and Mistique Music. A renowned DJ with appearances alongside John Graham, Jimmy Van M and Nick Warren, it is an honour to welcome Matias Chilano to the label with a debut remix. Working his customary magic, his remix of K Nass takes, "Sensory Deprivation" down a stunning new path that ripples with seething menace as a dominant kick and offbeat percussive cadence provide the hypnotic vehicle for a host of melodic components and swirling, delayed effects to drift airily across the mid and upper frequency range to perfectly juxtapose the oppressive beats and bass below.

The iconic figures of Pacco and Rudy B, have been writing music together for a decade. With a distinctive style that has drawn support from all quarters of the underground dance community including Eelke Kleijn, Henry Saiz and Ricky Ryan, the Croatian duo have continued to find success with a distinctive sound that has found its way onto A Must Have, Superordinate Music and Balkan Connection. Finding a home on Particles, classic tracks that include the timeless "Coral Castle", are testament to the duo's outstanding talent and craft. Returning, the Pacco and Rudy B remix of "Praiano" excites with its carefully constructed groove that echoes the melodic themes of the K Nass original while taking the track in an entirely different direction. A head-shaking percussive cadence creates dancefloor joy as layers of additional production material that build into the third movement with a new melodic variation, make the remix another standout work in the Pacco and Rudy B portfolio.

Lighting up the underground coastline with its glittering sonic architecture, "Praiano" sees K Nass at a spectacular landmark.

For our 25th release, we welcome Weird Sounding Dude, a Bangalore-based artist from India, back to the imprint for his highly anticipated solo EP titled “Arcade”. Better to known to his friends & family as Abhijith Hegde, Weird Sounding Dude made his debut appearance on Juicebox Music back in 2014 through his powerful remix of Diego Azocar’s ‘Homenaje’. He went on to release music on Ruiz Sierra’s “Egothermia”, Michael A’s “Genesis”, Alex Nemec’s “Mirabilis” and more recently Norman Hines’ “Stripped” and Jacqueline & Riley Reinhold’s “Traum”. He’s drawn his influences as an avid fan of the underground sound in dance music as well as his experiences as a DJ, especially after his appearances in top Indian festivals like Sunburn, R.E.S.E.T, CTRLALTDANCE and Krank as well as opening for highly inspiring international acts such as Freerange Records’ Jimpster, Afterlife’s VAAL and Kompakt’s Dauwd.

After honing his productions skills through the years, his current sonic-signature lies between the soulfulness of the deeper end of the musical spectrum, the hypnotic melodies of progressive as well as the grooves of techno. Showcasing that amalgamation is Weird Sounding Dude’s 5-track ‘Arcade’ EP.

For his debut Ep ‘Agartha‘ , Tel Aviv´s producer Tomer is approaching music with the fragility of ambient, classical influenced spheres and sensitive piano melodies combined with a minimal and highly qualitative percussion skeleton that reminds us on productions by Nils Frahm together with Olafur Arnalds or Tom Day. The sound stays crystal clear, alert and subtle while it has an indescribable drive within itself. Tomer told us that: "This EP reflects my honest feelings and my imaginary mind melting together into one world." Out of this the almost spiritual Name 'Agartha' was born. The two melodic Techno/ Electronica productions give us a glimpse into his repertoire and leave us with the need for more.

Premiere: Tomer - The Raven [Klangwelt]

The 58th release on Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital features a Colombian artist of growing global renown.  Juan Pablo Torrez continues his rise to prominence with a new EP titled "Two Souls Reconciliation", which includes a collaboration with his fellow countryman, Kamilo Sanclemente, and a remix from modern-day icon, Kastis Torrau.

Based in the central-southern city of Medellin, Juan Pablo Torrez has been a regular across the clubs of his Colombian homeland.  Sharing the stage with the industry's elite including Anthony Pappa and Erick Morillo, Torrez also curates the monthly "Clubsonica" podcast based on his successful record label of the same name.  A producer with over a decade's experience, Juan has seen his music grace the catalogs of Parquet, MNL, and Natura Viva, with an appearance on Perspectives alongside Kamilo Sanclemente back in October 2015.  Now making his solo debut, "Two Souls Reconciliation" is a strong, driving affair with layers of melodic intrigue found between grooved arpeggios and pulsating chord progressions.  Building to a denouement at the mid-point, the track settles back into an easy melodic and rhythmic framework that has found early support from Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren at ADE 2017.

Partner track "Anxiety" sees Juan joining forces again with Kamilo Sanclemente.  Bursting onto the underground dance scene in early 2016, Sanclemente's work has quickly shone like a beacon, lighting up Einmusika, J00F, and FSOE with his distinctive production credentials.  Reveling in its tropical percussive claves and woodblocks with offbeat hi-hats and thumping beats, "Anxiety" resonates with its powerful bassline before an uneasy melodic motif plays on the connotations inherent in the title.  The track has already found its way into the sets of Hernan Cattaneo, who included it during his landmark Forja performance in Cordoba last December.

Iconic artists of the caliber embodied by Lithuanian, Kastis Torrau, need little introduction.  Multiple residencies across the most acclaimed clubs of his homeland and releases on Last Night On Earth, Hope Recordings, and Click Records have cast a golden glow over his career.  Kastis was the winner of Sasha's "Cut Me Down" remix competition back in 2011 alongside studio mates Donatello & Arnas D.  His remix of "Anxiety" is a typically impressive offering.  Capturing the essence of the original, a huge bass groove wraps itself round a ticking percussive cadence and strong beat.  Building effortlessly, melodic patterns emerge as they build to a rousing crescendo before creating new variations in the latter half, showcasing genuine skill and craft.
