Steven Hays can be summed up in two words: dad extraordinaire. His music is largely inspired by his 5 year old son, as it is uniquely playful. Hailing from Austin, Texas, 'Somebody' is Hays' first musical outing, presenting tight yet groovy drums under a bed of vocal samples and a playful melody.

First on remix duty is talented producer, Solanca. Hailing from Denmark, Solanca has released on labels such as This Never Happened and Songspire Records. Solanca brings a progressive feel as he employs a myriad of bass stabs for those looking for a driving yet minimal take.

On final remix duty is respected duo Death on the Balcony. Mark Carmelli and Paul Hargreaves are teamed up as one of the most recognizable duos in deep house. The British duo have released on esteemed labels such as Anjunadeep and All Day I Dream, and are known for their deep yet minimal grooves. Their sound is present on the remix, stripping the track down to a powerful groove perfect for the club.

The 73rd release on Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital begins 2020 with the sparkling "So Corrupted" from Mehmet Akar. A pair of outstanding remixes by veteran producers Sezer Uysal and Nihil Young and Talal complete the EP.

A producer with a rich artistic pedigree, Mehmet Akar quickly found himself making a sizeable impression in the underground dance fraternity. After success with his "Deep Sounds" and "2nd Resurrection" radio shows, the Turkish producer has hit the headlines with over 150 track credits for some of the industry's finest imprints. Moreover, as a winner of Sasha's "Cut Me Down" remix competition and a 2011 release on Last Night On Earth, Akar has gone on to see his music feature on Global Underground, Beatfreak Recordings, and Outside The Box. Making his debut as part of the "ADE 2017 Sampler", Mehmet Akar returns to Perspectives Digital with the mesmerizing "So Corrupted".

Both successful high-profile artists in their own rights, Nihil Young and Talal have found further achievement as a creative duo. Over 1 million streams of his track "Align" has seen Young stand out in a crowded market. His music for Kindisch, Warung, and his own Frequenza Records has seen the Italian produce highly original melodic, deep, and progressive house with a sprinkling of techno. Joining forces with Talal, the London based producer has been a key figure at events including Robot Hearts, Cream Amnesia Ibiza, and Amsterdam Dance Event. Music signed to the likes of Dear Deer, Natura Viva, and Colore have subsequently seen over a century of credits supported by Maceo Plex and Solomun.

We welcome Fabrication back to the spotlight with a very special release, his debut album titled: Colors, our first of this nature and one project we are very proud to be working with him on.

Moving through a range of different sounds, genres and atmospheres, with inspiration heavily derived from thoughts and feelings, all relevant to his story and the message he is trying to portray through his music.

The all round emerging theme that emerges within the albums progression was a specific relation to the unpredictable, emotional nature of life. A unifying association of experiences and emotions

For him, the lead line in Colors (both the title and closing track) felt like it was a torch or spirit that was finally able to be drawn from the journey – one that pulls the story together and moves through a calm, relieving and triumphant energy.

What this album really represents is a sort of unifying association of experiences and emotions with which he feels all life on earth shares. When you put all the difference aside, we all experience the uncertainties of life together.

The latest from Deersky’s Soundteller Records welcomes Andy King to the label for his debut single. The UK artist lays claim to a meticulous discography highlighted by releases on BCSA, Proton Music and Stripped Digital. After capping off a successful 2019 with a release on Solarstone’s Pure Progressive imprint, Andy now debuts on Soundteller with ‘Hemisphere’ alongside remixes from Eric Lune and Monojoke.

Always surfing the genre barriers with an effortless ease, Andy explores his pure progressive roots on ‘Hemisphere’. Beautifully designed, it’s tough galloping beats play off shimmering arps and spacey sweeps across the first act, before eventually melting down into a tranquil break. Creating tension with each successive loop, ghostly wails drift across the framework, as muted rhythms gently rumble below. Cosmic synths then steal air at opportune moments, washing away the atmosphere into a rush of beats and percussion for a powerful finale.

Fresh off a stunning remix for Stellar Fountain, it’s Eric Lune who provides the first interpretation of ‘Hemisphere’. The Australian artist remains one of the progressive scenes fasting rising stars and his uncanny knack for crafting feel good melodies continues here. Clocking in at nearly ten minutes in length, it’s soulful strums, playful musicality and buoyant groove are joyous to say the least. Not lost in this is are dynamic moments though, particularly during the main break. Complete with striking electronics and impassioned harmonics, it serves as the ideal centrepiece for this epic journey.

Rounding out the release and providing the second and final interpretation of ‘Hemisphere’ is label artist Monojoke. Returning for his 10th appearance, the Polish artist follows his hit ‘Neon Desert’ from September of last year with a superb remix here. Drawing on the sensibilities of the original the Cracow resident adds layer after layer of melodic colour. It’s this trademark sound which has made him such a huge favourite amongst progressive house fans, and with a truly exhilarating break it really does round the release out on a massive note. Big time stuff from Monojoke and a beautiful release from Deersky’s Soundteller Records. Highly recommended.

A storm gathers pace across southern France; "Arashi" erupts from the creative mind of Nure. White noise flashes and analogue synth lines bristle with electric energy. Brewing into a whirlwind of sound, vibrancy and power permeate through a cascade of motifs into a new sonic force.

A French connection sees storm clouds rise above Montreal where Solid Stone conducts a symphony of sound. Thunderclaps echo in distant percussive syncopation while rippling motifs shower from above. From Full Force to electronic intimacy and melodic precision across the lowlands, a frisson of excitement accompanies Chook. Fizzing, crackling energy is conducted through the raw bass power that rises up across open plains.

Control and precision play out through Berlin skies. Metronomic arpeggiation slides to and fro in a new sonic foundation. Variations on a theme flow from Fabian Vieregge's "Arashi". A maelstrom of sound courses through the senses to create a powerful and fresh storm front.

Welcoming a new collaboration, Martin HERRS & Santanamusique join Particles with their "Meibe" EP. A a quartet of new tracks from the duo also sees remixes from Greece and Latvia.

January 2019 newcomers to the underground music scene Martin HERRS & Santanamusique made a successful debut with their "Unisis" EP on Dutch imprint, Click Records. Further work has gone on to feature on Wildfang Music and their own Annuna Music, as the duo now join Particles with "Meibe". The title track opens with a strong beat and shaker-fuelled percussion while a swathe of organic motifs and middle eastern influences pervade. A similarly inspired vocal line continues the distinctive flavour in impressive fashion. "Cora" continues the percussive narrative of its partner track before brash white-noise effects puncture the rhythmic framework. A gloriously delayed melodic phrase adds energy and interest with its sonar pinged character while textured pads add further depth. Continuing a penchant for heavy kick, "Phekda" is redolent in rich instrumentation that bristles into siren-fuelled phrases and deep space sound effects. Evolving in innovative fashion, additional melodic sequences come to the fore in a highly imaginative work. Final track, "Anima" is another original piece that glitters with juxtaposed melodies and jagged counterpoint phrasing. Using a plethora of distinctive sounds and synthesised motifs, the track develops in new and unexpected directions backed by a vibrato tone that carries across the seven-minute piece.

A renowned promoter, DJ and producer in his Greek homeland, Thodoris Triantafillou has achieved considerable success. An artist of repute, "Body Clock" found its way onto John Digweed's Bedrock imprint, while some 250 production credits have featured on such high-profile labels as Connaisseur, Chapter 24 and BOg's ATLANT. Making his Particles debut, the Thodoris Triantafillou remix of "Cora" is an intelligent and innovative reworking that takes elements of the original and weaves new magical patters that spin in different directions, delicately tied to HERRS & Santanamusique's track. A deep kick, rapid-fire percussion and bassline phrase form the basis for a new melody to rise up out of Triantafillou's interpretation, while white-noise and spot effects make their presence felt.

Latvian duo Blood Groove & Kikis, have lit up clubs the world over with their distinctive brand of music. Infused with infectious grooves and strong melody the duo has been regular contributors to the likes of Silk Tube, Nueva and Silk Music with the best-selling "Wonderland" album. Regulars on Particles with a series of high-profile remixes for GMJ, Nikko.Z and Andre Sobota, Blood Groove & Kikis now return with a scintillating reworking of "Meibe". With its strong deep house flavour a smooth rolling percussion and heavy beat form the backbone for an earworm motif to rise up, while a symphony of strings and pads provides depth and emotive texture. The middle eastern vocals and instrumentation of the original play their part, anchoring the remix to the original as the pair create an impressive new interpretation.

A sextet of new music from across Europe brings together a brilliant cast of artistic talent in "Meibe".
