This is a heated vision of tropical intoxication from Bay Area combo Gilberto Rodriguez y Los Intocables. It’s Chicano Soul power on a sidewalk glide through time and space. Ojalá is a slippery rola, cat-calling to the cosmos in stretched out summertime chants. The saunter is propelled in slithering twists and sways by fluid percussion, trumpets, guitar, keys and bass. These are sweaty spells laced with fruit juice and sticky intentions. Frosty premiered Ojalá on Open End, his weekly Red Bull Radio zoom around the globe. ELL YOT - GIRL

Spanish producer @braqueberry returns to @iberianjuke next week with the 'Ether⚡️Ever' EP, which marks an interesting progression from his usual sun-kissed footwork jams. The two tracks contained here certainly draw considerable influence from the drum patterns and sonic signatures of Chicago juke, but they also draw a whole lot more into the equation, essentially spiking carnival hardcore with a zesty Latin twist.

The EP is also home to a pair of remixes courtesy of fellow Barcelona beatmakers ETM and @daniel-2000, and we're very happy to be premiering the latter of those, which dials down the tempo for a smoky house workout.

When examining the history of electronic music in the UK, it's clear that Sheffield was one of the country's key early hubs, but that doesn't seem to prevent the city's current output from often being overlooked. Thankfully, the Central Processing Unit label and its fantastic run of releases is helping to change that, especially the ones from upstart Sheffield producer 96 Back. After debuting on CPU with an EP last year, he's now following it up with a proper full-length. Entitled 'Excitable, Girl,' it's scheduled for release on March 1, but ahead of that we premiered the bright melodies and perky rhythms of "Excited, Boy" on Red Bull Radio's First Floor, our weekly look at what's new in electronic music.
