'Hailing from Croatia, DJ Jock began his journey at 17 with a residency at Pineta Beach Bar. He perfected both his DJ and production skills, amassing a rich catalog over 12 years, featuring releases on renowned labels like Respekt Recordings, Suara, Intec, 1605, and Phobiq. His tracks have gained support from major techno players, including Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick, Joseph Capriati, Carl Cox, and Richie Hawtin. DJ Jock's work is a product of relentless studio experimentation, always striving for that something special.

Opening the EP is a pulsating techno masterpiece called "Inseparable" that forges an unbreakable connection between sound and listener, promising an unforgettable dance floor experience. "Focused," the second track, offers a more chilled and percussive groove while maintaining its captivating energy. This dynamic blend of rhythms creates a unique and entrancing sonic experience. Hailing from Venice but currently in Berlin, Italian DJ/Producer Nico Cabeza boasts an impressive catalogue of releases on Riot Recordings, Unrilis, Respekt Recordings and many more. Nico is set to expand his archive of musical works in January as he joins Victor Ruiz’s VOLTA imprint for his debut release on the label. Spread across three individually unique tracks, Cabeza’s ‘Laguna’ EP sees in the new year with an immersive influx of high-quality techno production and artistic expression.‘Laguna’ plunges the listener into a deepened array of groove-bringing tonal percussion, intricate hat sequences and punchy kicks. Progressively expanding from the track’s core, you’ll find an encapsulating combination of synth and bass arps fuse into the backdrop of resonant pads, sweeping FX and atmospheric breaks to carve out an energetic melodic techno roller with subtle, ethereal nuances throughout.‘Repressed Memories’ shows a firmer edge to Cabeza’s work. Booming kickdrums and hissing hat grooves lead alongside reverberated acid stabs. Another prominent synth arp makes the centrepiece, surrounded by a vignette of pounding beats, coarse, bleeding bass notes and corrosive chords, all brought together by a head-turning soulful vocal hook. The release ends with the ‘Terrazza Danieli’ mix of the title track, exhibiting Nico’s love of Trip-Hop. Inspired by its namesake, which offers unparalleled views of his native Venice.

Passengers is a VA sub-division of Simina Grigoriu’s Kuukou Records which has so far platformed emerging artists from Turkey, Belgium, Germany, Greece, Italy, Russia and the UK. Each record across the 10 additions to the series so far has been functional and direct;
Techno with sufficient force to power warehouse dance floors and big room club spaces. No. 11 in the series is a 3-track EP including tracks from Anina Owly & Thomas Klipps, Fruhwerk and Alec Ben & Paul Division. German duo Anina Owly & Thomas Klipps kick things off. Hailing from Freiburg, the pair have respectively racked up a slew of punchy, minimal records and are both very versed in working together to move dance floors. 'Capybara' is a stripped back but frenetic jam that churns through mangled frequencies, explosive tones and a kick that rolls like a tank. Mannheim / Vienna based Frühwerk then follows up releases on Solamente, Set About, Reload Records and EXTIMA with a fast-paced rocket which contrasts stone-clad drums with pop vocals and a certain 90s nostalgia. Alec Ben and Paul Division then close things off with a magnetic, dubby banger. Drums are neat, heavy and forthright as that smack under a synth that crashes and rolls like a turbulent sea. Stabs and vocal hints bring in a psychedelic element towards the end of a multifaceted release which can be pulled out of the bag across the beginning, middle and end of a memorable party.

Prototype is the fruit of the shared goals between @colussimusic and @r4nemusic, artists based in the South of Brazil and engaged in contributing to the evolution of the underground Brazilian scene. Together they also have @innure, a project which they will sign b2b DJ sets and releases. 

Now, as Prototype's headlabels, they seek to create a bridge between human senses and sound waves, exploring the deepest and most melodic layers of techno to connect, synchronize and expand the musical perception of those who listen to the label's releases.
