Off Grid Sessions 02

What a day Saturday was! I went to the studio in the afternoon to record this set and at night I played at the Ostbloc anniversary, which was absolutely insane! (That set is coming soon 😉)
But for now here's the next Transmission, which again combines older and pretty recent tracks, melodic & atmospheric and dark & driving ones to create a set with a lot of energy and depth. Enjoy the mix and hear you next week!

BIO - Julian Koerndl

 Julian Koerndl's musical career began at the age of six as part of a classical piano education. At the age of 12, musical education in the field of drumming and percussion followed. Between the age of 12 and 18 Koerndl played in several music orchestras as a drummer and percussionist. In 2018 he started producing his own electronic music. In 2019, the internationally respected UK based label Global Underground signed Koerndls' track Timebender. In 2021 Koerndl worked in cooperation with the Klanglicht Festival of light and sound together with the light artist Mischa Kuball on an installation as a sound designer. In 2022 Koerndl was signed by the London label Somatic. Well-known names such as Lauren Mia, Erly Tephsi and Wurtz have already played Koerndl's tracks around the world. His tracks have also been played on BBC Radio 1. 

The music of Julian Koerndl is characterizedby his cinematic, melancholic and emotional sound. Because he never let himself be influenced by other artists and always remained true to his own style, one can always assign each of his compositions to Koerndl.
