When Elizaveta approached me about doing a remix and rework of her song Sorry for the russian film "Молот," I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it, a sort of future/hybrid flip. 

There are several versions out there now, both with Russian vocals and radio edits, but this is the full length English version!

Some of you might remember that I had some of my first tracks released in 2008 on a website called OCRemix - a place dedicated to slick video game music remixes. I still occasionally do VGM tracks, and this time I teamed up with ya boi Ben Briggs (https://soundcloud.com/bbriggsmusic) to do one for this Sega Racing album. We actually started on this track like 5 years ago... it's changed just a bit since then.

To me, Foucault is a memoir of my friendship with Jolliff: being in the same time and space together to explore new musical territories. To her it probably means something very different… personal but in another way. A bittersweet reminisce of those rose tinted final days of summer; days spent with a loved one who is no longer part of your life.
