'For twenty years, Dynarec has been pushing the boundaries of electro on some of the best known labels. Little will his listeners know, there is another side to this prolific French producer’s machines. Speakwave is a lesser known, and heard, moniker of this analogue artist and the debut vinyl release of this nom de plume is set for release on Bordello A Parigi. Fans of the Dynarec sound are treated to the same wonderous compositions and melodic structures with something else added. “Cartographic Venture” is a ten minute introduction to this new style. Crisp drum patterns support cold flourishes and stabbing synthlines before distant vocals arrive. The track balances the frostier edges of electronics and wave to create a lonesome and longing synth pop ballad. “Coming On Monday” has a different energy. The pop element of the predecessor remains, lyrics are vocoder dipped while confident key shifts are countered by strong rhythm patterns. The closer, like the 12”, defies definition. Burbling notes and sharp snares give an edge to “Exposition To Revolution”, but there is also a more inviting nurturing side coming through in the spiralling skyward melody. A release that shows another fascinating side of this multifaceted musician.'

Speakwave - Coming On Monday

Ansonica is an Italian deejay based in Berlin. Obsessed with disco music since she was a kid, thanks to the influence of her mother she literally grew up with
spaghetti and Italo disco. 

She spent several years following closely the club scene in Italy, working as DJ Host and PR at Ribbon Club Culture in Central Italy until she moved to Berlin in 2015. 

After a long time of being only in the “backstage” she has decided to start playing and creating her own "colorful" and authentic music style fully shaped by her taste and personality mixing Hi-NRG disco with diverse house and electronic vibes. 

She has been playing regularly in Berlin in clubs like Kitkat, Renate, Sisyphos Klunkerkranich, Oxi, to name a few with Disco Bizarre and Toytonics crews as well as international gigs all over Europe. Her mission is making Disco glamorous and exciting again and bring the dancers on a fresh, sweaty, fun and always a “little bit italian” journey.

This week our guest mix on Mutant Disco Radio Show is Tetsumasa a Japanese electronic music producer originally from Nagoya City.
Deeply inspired by Downtempo, Hip-Hop, Glitch, Dub and bass music in general, he started producing music under the alias of 'Devecly Bitte' delivering some full-length works for both European and Asian Labels back in the early 2000's.
Currently based in Berlin since 2016, he signed two EP albums on SAIDAN and Arboretum labels, which accurately portrayed his organic and deeply cinematic sounds-aesthetic also encompassing his affinity to the Industrial and Techno scene.

Diapason is a Neukoelln based events series created by Ondula and Eva Geist, inspired by obscure music culture, experimental art and experiences of life in suburban communities of outsiders. With Petra Péterffy’s morphic graphics and animations, Diapason has become a much anticipated bi-monthly appointment for the Sameheads audience.

The recent lockdown forced Sameheads to cancel our latest two episodes. Shifting to this hidden virtuality, we want to keep the tradition alive and have reached out to some of our past guests and assembled a Diapason Compilation Tape Vol. 1 featuring new music from some of the artists who inspired us.
