Kickstarting the Voyages to Plantera is Brussels-based Robin Genton, aka STDJ. An active member of the Who's Playing? collective, they bring an hour of conscious-expanding sounds. 

Translating to 'Wild Coast', this contribution is inspired by a rave experience Robin has recently had; playing at a party in a forest environment aside the sea. Forwarding this experience into the world of Plantera. 

"This set plays on a wide stretch of land forming a beach bordered by dunes and pine forests. It gives sight on an estuary, a lighthouse, and faraway ships. The pine trees move in a breath-like manner as the wind blows through them. The Milky Way slowly becomes visible as night falls, and the Moon provides just enough light for dancers to find their way."

Mercorn is a Dublin-based DJ who is passionate about uplifting marginalised voices in the Irish music scene. She is a co-founder of Skin&Blister, a collective that nurtures and encourages female identifying, trans and non-binary creatives in music and the arts. She is also a co-founder and resident at Tender, a party for queers and allies, which launched in September. She brings a fun sound and an upbeat, electric energy to her sets, selecting from 90s trance, progressive house, acid and more.

"I wanted to make something with all of the styles, moods and grooves I'm currently feeling. I also wanted to do a sort of celebratory vibe to reign in the new year and bid farewell to the old- I had a cute and sexy NYE party situation in mind when mixing this. I hope the mix is enjoyed in the company of friends, lovers and strangers with many smiles wherever you find yourself."

Rounding out the year for us is @eoindj. Currently based in London via stints in Glasgow and Dublin, but hailing from the west of Ireland, Eoin has been quietly DJing, running parties and doing radio shows for the best part of the last decade.
