The sound of this mix is how I'd imagine it would feel being cradled by Mother Nature herself on a warm summers evening under the tree of Life❤️

In the midst of the Australian outback rests one of the worlds largest radio telescope arrays.
The listening devices together have the power to hear into deep space, Thus providing a larger understanding of the universe around us; An amplification of the evolutionary gift that we call the sense of sound.
At some point in 2020 they intercepted an abundance of very peculiar signals coming from a star located with in our neighbouring system, Alpha Centauri.
With each message intercepted the signal only grows stronger, soon enough it may lead to contact.
Patience is virtue, they take about two weeks to come through.

Interceptions

In his take on "The Babbler", fellow Australian artist Timmus adopts a shuffling rhythm and introduces a more angular jazzy concept to the track. His addition of the dreamy synth melody in the breakdown brings a touch of beauty to the strange. Be sure to grab this cool remix in addition to the rest of the 5 track release!

This is the Recording from my set i played at 'Talk To Me' Bar for 'Comedown Sundays'. I played 5pm to 6:30pm in the afternoon. HEAVY FOOTER || Esoteric 2020 @ BushTechno Stage || Monday 9am Opening Set

As with most of my mixes I try not to plan it out too much but the tracks are always chosen with emotion and I let my mix go where it wants to. My year started with me being hit by a truck while crossing the street followed by losing my job, two cats, and an aunt but there was also some good in there and starting from when I first arrived in the ER I tried to put a little humor in there for my sanity. The mix is a little peek into how it has been feeling inside my head since December. A little dark at times, when it gets overwhelming there's a bit of light and a hint of humor, but it always feels heavy. My favorite.

Heavy Footer has been someone we've had in mind to book since the inception of Proxima Frequencies. 
Unrestricted or bound by genre, Heavy Footer's unique take to DJing has found her teamed up with the Pelican Villa crew, having provided their dance floors with everything from silky dnb selections to deep and dirty club cuts. 
We really didn't know what to expect when she provided us with this piece, all we really knew was that it would be truly special. 

With a love for powerful basslines, ethnic instruments and long musical journeys, Heavy Footer enjoys taking her listeners through a spectrum of genres. 
Originally from the UK, she made her name playing around Melbourne's underground scene of clubs and festivals. 
This 2 hour mix, consisting of deep and melodic house, is inspired by the wild and unpredictable forces of nature - forests, mountains, deserts, the stars...
