A revelation is the act of revealing or disclosing something not before realized. The DNB Guild in conjunction with longtime Jungle bad man General Malice blesses the massive with his "Revelations E.P.". In this release, General Malice reveals hardcore junglism with precision edits, thunderous bass, and melodic keys. Stepping in with a huge remix is bassdrive veteran Stunna with a smooth classy roller. Fellow veteran junglist, Sixfootunda bangs out a rhythmic rendition, and the long-standing DNB expert Easyrider drops a neuro banger that brings the fire. Skankandbass is dedicated towards the official promotion of record labels and artists in the world of drum & bass music. Since inception in 2010, Skankandbass has unearthed some of the freshest talents in the scene and has opened many doors for unsigned artists. Joanna Syze: a name synonymous within the darker, moodier realms of drum and bass. No stranger to the music industry, with a DJ career and back catalogue spanning close to twenty years, Syze is renowned throughout the US & Europe for being one of the second wave of female artists –following on from the likes of DJ Rap, Kemistry & Storm etc., to break through not only as a DJ, but a highly competent producer, vocalist and businesswoman.

After a string of successful releases and collaborations throughout the noughties - including her unforgettable vocals on the seminal 'No Evil' by Kryptic Minds & Leon Switch, Syze shifted her focus to recording her debut LP for OHM Resistance - Rodina, which fittingly translates to “homeland” in Bulgarian and is Joanna's birthplace; a place entrenched into every fibre of her being and somewhere consistently referenced in many of her lyrics and work.

Fast forward to early 2016: after a five year hiatus to focus on her ongoing health issues, Joanna decided to begin working on her sophomore album –Surrender, another 17 track project but this time for Othercide Recordings. There are many familiar artist features on this album from both seasoned drum and bass veterans, right through to collaborations with the new breed of producers. The album includes the likes of Chris.SU, Akov, Barbarix, Volatile Cycle, Zardonic, Redpill & The Sect to name but a few – all laying down their own unique styles and identities. However, the feel & sound of Surrender remains unmistakably Syze throughout: moody, melancholy, instantly encapsulating with a heavy nod to the early/mid 2000's era of dark reese's and hypnotizing melodies that inspired her so much.

Kelle @tkelle is a multi-genre Electronic Music producer from Budapest, specializing in heavy Breakbeat and Drum & Bass styles.

Fascinated by the diversity and energy of broken rhythms, Kelle, under the strict guidance of Gábor Dienes (aka ‘Beatman’ from the ‘Beatman & Ludmilla’ duo) began developing his own trademark sound. He drew inspiration from a variety of artists released on such labels as AYRA, RUNE, Bombtraxx and Broken Robot Records. An indelible mark on the development of his style was made by the movie soundtrack from ‘The Matrix’, produced by the heavy-hitters like ‘The Prodigy’, ‘Propellerheads’, ‘Lunatic Calm’, ‘Massive Attack’ and ‘Rob Dougan’.

After productive cooperation with ‘Henry D’ of the Bombtraxx label and Adam ‘Retroid’ of Ego Shot and Morphosis Records, whom Kelle is grateful for the support, he joined the team of RUNE Recordings, becoming one of the leading resident artists of the label. Here, Kelle received enormous support from Dima ‘RUNE and Dima ‘Under This’, figuring out his right place within the Electronic Music scene. Inspired by collaborations with artists such as ‘Mechanical Pressure’ and ‘Sergei Orange’, Kelle decided he was well prepared and ready to release his debut album.

On August 1st, 2020, Kelle will unleash his musical passion and energy in the form of ‘Revolution In You LP’. The assortment of twelve tracks represent all of the Kelle's mastery, ranging from nuskool, tearout & progressive breaks to mainstream & neurofunk drum & bass. The release of the album is meant to deliver one important message: Nothing is predetermined — Revolution In You.
