This monster of a mix from @veronica-mi has finally reached our inbox and we´re excited to share it with you! Veronicami is a Warsaw-based and Baku-raised DJ and part of DŁOŃ collective. As a child, she has been studying jazz vocal in music school, as a teenager she has been running away from home to drum’n’bass parties, while her parents were asleep. She has spent some time in London, as well as Berlin and took loads of influences from there and incorporating these in her own mixes. Full of deconstructed club, dance and hardcore, this mix is definitely gonna take you places...

@ladybug161 is part of Dresden-based DJ crew @happalekollektiv. She’s been unfolding her red wings in order to whirl resistance against the patriarchy for a while now, but has found her way to the decks only a year ago. Ladybug now takes every opportunity to expand her skills within the Happalé collective and to get involved in the still male-dominated techno world.
Her motto: "play like a lady".
While DJing she tries to use her own samples to tell a story. This time Lady Bug wants to take off together with all FLINTAs* and celebrate in the galactic sphere.

Sound artist, musician and sound designer from Belarus, Minsk @mudaki provides a melancholic and dark atmosphere for your everyday rituals. Mixing vinyls for over 2 years, mʊdʌki is chasing the aesthetics of the 90s underground parties which she will never experience, creating a model situation of an inaccessible club culture mirage. Her DJ identity oscillates between subgenres of bass music, such as jungle, dubstep, dub, juke through more avant garde & experimental electronic music, up to a wide branch of techno. @just_go_fun are two friends living in leipzig and berlin. Thrilled by 90s trance hits their collection of dream dance CDs constantly grew. Not much later they selected their favorite tracks and played their first set on a festival floor co-organised by their collective friz @freudeundradauimzenit in summer 2019. After a long flight to the moon, just go are finally back with this very dreamy mix. Matching the mood of the last melancholic months they chose their softest and most dreamy tracks to take you on a sweet journey with their "too much rain over paradise" mix. Feel the taste of the slowly upcoming summer and never stop dreaming!

Soviette is a Berlin based musical journalist, radio host and DJ focusing on russian and post-soviet music. She started mixing at parties that she used to throw together with her collective nihil. Her approach to music has changed a lot throughout the years. From just showing people new music that she likes, Soviette has ended up mixing underground rave producers with more mainstream, you could say pop songs. Sometimes she even manages to tell a story by combining the artists’ lyrics. 

These 52 minutes are a perfect representation of Soviette and her versatile sound. Starting with more hip hop influenced tracks, she unnoticeably switches to electro and ends this immaculate mix with a great rave selection.

@invernonrevni is a DJ based in Berlin & Kraków (PL), and one of the co-founders of the @blvsh_collective, which mission is to grow the exposure, peer support, and promotion of FLINTGA* talents. Committed to the concept of anonymity, INVERИO wants to keep the focus on the music and not the identity or the face behind the decks. Each of their sets is built like a movie, with a dark, gloomy atmosphere and a pinch of anxiety. They call it: Frightechno and we absolutely adore it.

@atikaaltar is a female DJ and producer from Singapore. She has been DJing for a total of 9 years and moved to Europe about a year ago during lockdown. Atika Altar is currently based in Warsaw, Poland.Her motivation behind being involved in music is simply the love for listening, collecting, playing and making it. It makes her feel good and therefore she has written to us that she can't imagine her life without it.
 
The idea behind this mix is playing some fast, interesting and wild tracks from her collection that she never got to play back in Singapore due to the scene's setting. The mix quickly evolves into a bundle of gloomy and hypnotizing, yet still unexpected sounds.

@gretchenbazooka is a hard dance DJ who loves combining tekno, UK hardcore and hardstyle in her mixes. She is based in Berlin, is a part of the collective "Sound System Culture", curates a series of parties called "Dynamic Events" and has played in several clubs as well as on festivals stages. Producing her own music since 2020, she is set out to make ravers sweat with every track and DJ set. Her immaculately mixed submission for our OPEN CALL series is a perfect example of her style. This is the first longer recording from yamyam and we’re super happy that we chose our platform to share it. yamyam started DJing during the pandemic, because it made her think of good times with her friends and was also a way to cope with extra time, when everything closed. She loves older tracks, acid house and oldschool trance, but she surprises us with a huge variety of genres and broken beats in her mix.

@djwarka is a Warsaw-based DJ & producer from The Republic of Bashkortostan. She likes to investigate music through eras of genres. This is exactly what she’s done here as well. For this mix she has collected tracks from a time where there were raves for those who didn't dance, but were into the dark atmosphere of techstep. DJ Warka picked those enjoyable and in a way romantic tracks that create sort of an intimate atmosphere.

@tillydin is a DJ duo consisting of @tilla-danaylow and @nadklm, who found each other 2 years ago in Halle, Germany. They usually play house, funk and like to throw in some disco tunes from time to time. Sometimes they would drift away to the deeper spheres of music to appear a bit more serious. You won’t find any of these serious tunes in here. Enjoy this “good vibes only mix” while sliding into the weekend!

BC-A started DJing around 5 years ago in Club Cubique and Innsbruck and is now co-hosting a party series called “Technology” in the very same club, where she’s also a resident. Same as us, she thinks that the club scene shouldn’t only be about partying, but about politics and feminism as well.  Besides that she’s also managed to submit her mix for a @lobster-theremin showcase at @rinsefm. As a part of @night_service she tries to push an even faster and harder sound. During the recording of the mix submitted for our open call series, BC-A wanted to kind of overstep her own boundaries, try out something new and to play something quite abstract, compared to her usual sound. We’re happy this one is finally out and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

dj annita or simply annita (@annixxta) had her first gig in front of an audience just about 2 and half years ago. She is part of GEM collective organizing parties, which were also crucial for her and motivated her to start DJing as well. From punk, synth and wave at the very beginning, annita has now reached a stadium in which she feels comfortable mixing basically everything. As a huge opponent of genres, she sometimes feels a bit lost or chaotic in her style, but everything else would feel too boring for her. If she had to ever decide on one direction, she’d go for breaks and bass music with groovy melodies.

@autonome_zaertlichkeit started mixing in 2019 and have been on their 
journey since then to create cute and diverse sounds. They are part of 
the fembpm collective and host a radioshow every 2nd friday. This 
chaotic mix travels with us through different genres just like we feel

Euphobia was so captivated by Black Madonna at a festival in 2018 that she couldn't get rid of the thought of wanting to DJ herself. After some time she tackled a new projekt in 2019! Her motivation was to be able to organize a party where only female* DJs play. Of course, she had to act as a role model for the event, learned how to DJ and "Girlz on Deckz" was born. 
Recording this mix was a personal challenge for Euphobia, as she did it without much preparation, without many thoughts, "just mixing it"! With this she experienced the joy of good music – without any perfectionism.

Rayndu is a dj and cultural manager from Warsaw, whose selection consists of electro, breakbeat, bass and ghetto in various proportions. She is constantly fascinated by something new, which is why she does not get used to one genre for too long. Rayndu is a member of @femalepressure and Beats of Solidarity collective. Through her work and activities, she looks to engage the local music community in equality topics and social issues.

@lilhurty is part of @virgoleipzig collective and has been enriching Leipzig's scene with her sound for a while now. While she doesn't like to fixate on genres, you can always find electro, breaks, acid or even gabber tunes in her sets, which are chaotic, fast forward and extremely energetic. Also, she never says no to a good edit and this is why we're sure that this mix packed with almost 30 tracks will set you up for the upcoming weekend.

With different bangers GeHt Steil creates her own bombshell sound. She loves digging deep into electronic music and getting suprised by unexpected sounds of the world. Living in Dresden it is also the place where she was introduced to DJing and now being part of nms e.v.
GeHt Steil hopes that other people have as much fun as herself discovering the music while listening to the mix.

Normally playing a lot faster, Miss Junia tried to stay below 150 BPM in their mix for our ProZeccoCast. Moving to Berlin and being surrounded by Queerness and Blackness had an impact on their DJing. Local collectives have showed Miss Junia a broader side of electronical music. As they don’t commit to a specific genre, Miss Junia loves thick bassy and bouncy stuff, chaos and madness reached through percussive elements, shattering glass and warped kicks or painfully sharp sounds that will inevitably make your (face) muscles move whether it is in Gabber and Hardcore, or more recently in Drum and Bass and Jungle.

Schnell und intensiv - so könnte das Thema für den aktuellen ProZeccoCast von unserem Mitglied @feriga sein. Seit drei Jahren im Kollektiv am Start, hat sie jetzt auch mal geschafft einen Mix aufzunehmen. Energetische Bässe treffen auf Melodien, zwischendurch darf es auch gern ein bisschen Acid sein. Damit präsentieren sich ferigas aktuelle Lieblingstracks. Mit 160 BPM wird nicht in den Sonnenuntergang geritten, damit wird durch die Nacht gesprintet. Kleine Pausen zum Luft holen sind auch mit dabei, aber nur um direkt danach wieder voller Energie weiter zu brettern.

Fast and intense - that could be the theme for the latest ProZeccoCast from our member @feriga. She has been part of the collective for three years and has now managed to record a mix. Energetic bass meets melodies, with a bit of acid thrown in for good measure. This is how feriga's current favourite tracks are presented. You don't ride off into the sunset at 160 BPM, you sprint through the night. There are also short pauses to catch your breath, but only to continue on full of energy straight afterwards.

Flexible Heart was a member of ProZecco crew before there even was a crew. As most of us she has joined one of the first DJ workshops and was motivated to finally get in touch with someone else than cis-men playing music. At this time she was already playing disco (&mostly everything)at some bars in Dresden. She never really stopped loving the funky disco tunes, but her style has got way darker, especially in this set. Apart from that she surely is the acid house queen of Dresden! We´re happy to present you a set from our own Hoodie (@hoodie_ya) this time! She´s joined our crew about 1,5 years ago and also took part in our showcase at Monis Rache last year. Hoodie has started spinning digital records during house parties and has been invited to be a part of our crew later. She´s a devoted activist & bass lover, who will surely be happy to kick-off your demonstration with some proper bass music. Her sound is full of pounding, often broken, beats and loud bass, as you may here in this lovely set. Listen to it know or just spare it for your power morning at work tomorrow! <3

@paupaupaupaupaupaupau has  started DJ-ing after one of our DJ workshops back in november 2018 in AZ Conni. She is part of the @zirkulation collective and felt like their entire concept might have given people a wrong impression since there where no flti* DJs in the group back then. She decided to take it in her own hands and to DJ herself, which was possible thanks to our workshop. We did not know the story when we asked her for a mix so it kinda make us proud. The podcast submitted by PAU PAU is full of acid basslines, trance melodies and hard-hitting kickdrums, just like she loves it!

@elfaux has started her DJ journey at the end of 2016. Back then she has finished her diploma in architecture and felt like now is the time to finally do what she really wants to, regardless of expectations imposed by the others. She always loved hoarding music and searching for new tunes so she actually had a small vinyl collection before she bought her first turntables. Besides that, Elfaux was active in the @tagtr-umer-productions crew, but it was her friend (with whom she plays gloomy ambient, trap, gabber and loads of different stuff together as @kraterjockeys),who has finally lend her his DJ equipment. After that she has played her first gig at infamous Jugendtanz, was involved in numerous radio shows and organized loads of parties, as well as political initiatives with Tagträumer Productions. Sadly they don´t exist as a party crew anymore, so we might expect some new projects coming from Elfaux.

Musically, she is mostly influenced by hiphop, trap, breaks, halftime, bass all kind of irregularities. Elfaux also loves playing atmospheric ambient sets, where she is incorporating some weird sounds and vocals live. At the moment she really got into ghettotech, 00s vocals and acid elements, which are all present in her mix.  Use this extra party-free time that corona gave us and dive straight into this breaky mix!

@polly_hertz has got our attention with her Gigi D'Agostino x Haiyti mega mix, which has been released by her about 2 years ago and we've been following her progress since then. She's not only a fabulous DJ, whom we've been happy to hear live a few times, but also an amazing producer. Polly Hertz is known for her hard dance remixes full off sounds typical for breakcore, happy hardcore and bass music, which melt together creating a specific vibe for which she's definitely recognized by now. We could not get enough of her short Boiler Room contribution and decided to ask her for our own podcast series. The mix delivered by Polly is packed with breaks, some old drum'n'bass gems and everything hard, but still spreading wonderful, positive energy. Perfect way to start another week in quarantine.

@molimonster is a rising star of Polish scene and you´ve probably heard her amazing commissions for RA or Impact mix series. We admire her not only for being an extraordinary DJ, but for her involvement in the underground music scene and politics. Together with @oramicspl they organize loads of workshops & make it possible for young DJs to play in bigger clubs without having any connections. Besides that, they´re also raising awareness when it comes to the rights of LGTQIA* community in far-right Poland. Monster started off playing during parties on the oldest squat (Rozbrat) in Poland. Back then she used to play eurodance & rave, which are still a huge thing in her sets. Usually combining breakbeats, trance and everything energetic, this time Monster has delivered us a special mix consisting only of edits!

We got to know @xynia_xynia as part of the @tba_club, shortly after she started DJ-ing. In only few years as a DJ and producer, Xynia has developed her trademark hard dance sound and has also managed to release some of her remarkable productions via @coupprojekt and @demainkollectiv, which she is also being a part of. We are extremely happy to present you her mix loaded with some oldschool trance bangers and newer, powerful vocal-driven productions. Keep an eye on her, you guys!
