If you say Promo, we’re willing to bet you’ll automatically finish it with ‘Files’. Some say the Promo Files are the most important body of work the hardcore scene has ever seen, captured in the legendary Last Man Standing album. And truth be told, when the first file dropped and the dust settled, people didn’t know what hit ‘em (some still don’t!).

A unique collection of light meets dark, with influences from everywhere. Hailed for the file kick, celebrated for the floorfillers¬, and revered for the experiments. A complete anomaly in its days, that effortlessly stood the test of time. Promo had a vision for the sound of hardcore. To honor the rightful Last Man Standing that is Promo in a deserving way, we created a unique project. 25 years of Promo files, 25 years of legendary tracks. To propel them into the here & now, we asked the biggest talents and larger than life legends to remix their favorite Promo track!

The remixers include:
Ophidian, an icon of the hardcore genre that we all know for his refined yet uncompromising style.
Starving Insect: Sweden’s leading doomcore export, channeling atmosphere and heaviness.
Mr. Gasmask: Belgium’s acid tekno specialist mixing it up, and last but not least,
EAS: delivering a precise, industrial techno interpretation straight from the USA.

The result is four Tripped slammers dissected and resurrected for his, hers, and their hardcore pleasure! Whatever type of core you are into, this remixed EP is bound to satisfy you.

This EP showcases the versatility of the original tracks while giving space for each remixer’s unique approach.

The Outside Agency is back with another edition of their infamous Goes Noord vs. The Rest of the World series. The fourth instalment features collabs off of TOA's Scenocide 404 with totally bad dudes like Mindustries, Deathmachine, Dither and Fracture 4. All tracks are sitting pretty between 150 and 160 BPM. True semi-industrial beats for those that know.
