BURNDAHGROUND ‘25 is a 90-minute analog odyssey into the depths of 90s underground hip-hop. Curated and mixed by Avantgarde Vak a.k.a. VANSERNU, this mixtape resurrects the raw, dusty spirit of forgotten 12”s, indie test presses, and long-lost cassette joints—tracks that lived in crates, not charts.

From the grimy backstreets of NYC to the hazy corners of the West Coast, this set digs deeper than your average boom-bap fix. Featuring Mister Voodoo, MF Grimm, Godfather Don, Concrete Mob, and a host of unsung legends, each cut bleeds texture, grit, and soul. Expect razor-sharp lyricism, tape hiss, saturated drum loops, and the unmistakable crackle of vinyl.

Side Phat flows jazzy and meditative—hip-hop for midnight headphones and rainy streets.
Side Def flips the switch with aggressive streetwise anthems and warehouse cipher energy. Both sides, however, stay rooted in that uncompromising, lo-fi essence.
