Asilomar Tide Pool

More underwater sounds for your enjoyment. On a rainy, windy day on the Hudson River we encounter a small boat swaying back and forth. Captured with two Ambient ASF-2 Hydrophones approximately 15' apart, mixed with a Cooper CS104.

Rain Day Magnetic 01

Found in the archives, some field recordings made in late 2020 while parts of the Moynihan Train Hall and nearby Hudson Yards were under construction. 

We hear a rare moment as another lockdown had reduced the severe traffic along 9th Ave and 34th. In the relative calm we can hear reverberations of the construction echoing for blocks.
