Purified Records presents ‘Fragments XXVII’, a curated collection featuring tracks from ARIV3, DRYRA, and Crossing Paths that balances serene relaxation with subtle shifts in tone and energy. Opening with ARIV3's ‘Heraclea’, the compilation moves through DRYRA’s introspective ‘Voyage’ and concludes with Crossing Paths’ uplifting ‘Echoes From Tomorrow’. From expansive, atmospheric soundscapes to moments of inspiring vibrancy, this soothing compilation captures the essence of emotional depth while inviting the listener to sink into their own space.

The ‘Fragments XXVII’ artwork features an image of an ocean sunfish, taken by Brooke Pyke. Brooke is an award-winning marine life photographer from Australia, based on Ningaloo Reef in WA. With a background in diving, she now focuses on ocean, travel, and adventure photography, capturing the beauty of the underwater world since 2014.

The mola mola, or ocean sunfish, is the heaviest bony fish in the world and plays a vital role in maintaining a healthy ocean food web by controlling populations of jellyfish, their primary prey. By keeping jellyfish numbers in check, mola molas help protect smaller fish and plankton, which are crucial for the diets of many marine species and the overall balance of ocean ecosystems. Sadly, they fall victim to commercial fishing, plastic pollution, and climate change.

I was supporting the wizard James Zabiela for the second time alongside the lovely Gemma Arnott, and I can honestly say that it was my favourite gig ever. We all worked beautifully together as a team and I will never forget it.
